  6. Just mush the food up. It's still solids. I ate cabbage and green beans and made them mushy and I felt like I was eating real food or you can just chew forever lol. Try fish as it's already soft.

  8. I'm at a 2 week stall. It took me 4 days to lose 1 pound. Someone needs to hide my scale.

  14. I agree. The liquid diet is your best bet. I lost 14 pounds in 2 weeks. Some people lose more. Maybe he'll be more lenient if he sees some weight loss, even if it's not the full 20 pounds.

  20. Sounds like me. I'm 12 days post op. Incision is finally feeling better, it was killing me at first. I've started pureed food and am feeling fine for the most part. Hang in there we'll soon be somewhat normal again.
  21. You got this. I had to do 2 weeks pre-op liquid diet. It was hell but I made it.
  22. Don't beat yourself up. It was only a bite. I chewed a few things and spit it out. I also ate green beans and cabbage which were delicious. My date was 11/16.
  23. Go slow and very little sips is my advice. I had to do a water trial before I could leave the hospital, did you? It's when they make you drink 20 oz of water and keep it down.
  24. My doctor said I can't start them until week 2
  25. Hi surgery twin! How was Thanksgiving for you?

  27. I'm officially 1 week out. The pain is only a tad bit better.
  28. The institution I went through hosts them monthly. You should see if yours offers the same.
  29. I'm in the same boat. It's this 1 incision near my belly button that won't stop hurting [emoji24]. Does yours feel better now? I need some hope [emoji23]
  30. Minute maid pink lemonade zero sugar, Gatorade frost zero sugar, diet ocean spray cranberry and grape cranberry are all my faves.
