Been reading some of your posts.. You are an inspiration! I too have had the same feelings about whether or not it was "Worth it"... Times when I want to eat and can't.. but overall, I LOVE MY BAND! I am down about 70 pounds now in a little over a year.. and I WOULD DO IT AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT! But anybody ever says something about me taking the EASY WAY OUT... don't know what they are talking about! This was a life-changing experience.. and the band don't do it alone! You have to be committed! Keep up the good work!

Just had an e-mail from a friend of mine who had mini bypass same time I had lap band, and she has lost 147 pounds! done really great! she got there first, but I believe I will get there EVENTUALLY! lol! again, thanks for the words of encouragement!

Just dropping in to check up on you... Looks like your weight is coming off good! I have an appointment for a fill on June 19 (1-year Bandiversary is the 20th)... Finally started dropping weight again, but I was at a plateau for 5 weeks! Keep on keeping on, and hope to see "less of you" soon!

I think you will find that about 2 weeks AFTER YOUR FILL, your restriction is likely to kick in.. don't be surprised! Lol! Mine ALWAYS get tighter after the 2nd or 3rd week.. can't tell you why that is, but it seems to be a common occurence.. I think i am about ready for another fill, need to make arrangements. I have been at a plateau for 4 weeks now, and I was able to eat half a hamburger today, which has been UNHEARD OF in the last 9 months! Lol! Keep up the good work with your diet and keep up the good work for the Lord! God Bless! Keep me posted!
