Just dropping in to check up on you... Looks like your weight is coming off good! I have an appointment for a fill on June 19 (1-year Bandiversary is the 20th)... Finally started dropping weight again, but I was at a plateau for 5 weeks! Keep on keeping on, and hope to see "less of you" soon!

Just cruising and saw your profile. Hope all went well with your surgery? I am on a "plateau" at the moment. Have lost 57 but stuck for about 3 weeks now. I still have restriction, and I am sure the scale will start to move again soon. Hope the band works as well for you as it has been for me! Good luck and God Bless!

So sorry you are having such problems! I can't help you with your questions, but keep posting.. You are in the right place! Just curious.. when were you banded? Have you lost any weight? So the pain around the port is the only reason you are having it removed? Good Luck and God Bless!

Hey Sara! Good for you and congrats on your loss! I was banded June 20, down 45 pounds! Would love to see some updated pics! My husband took some of me this week before I went for my 2nd fill. I feel soooo much better, have a long way to go, but feel like I am on the right track now! Keep up the good work!

I just went through a bad spell with my band being too tight, and seems like overnight, the flood gates have opened up and I need another fill! lol! Hope to see "less of you" in the near future!

hey! I read your story... I too have been overweight most of my life.. struggled all through elementary, high school.. and mangaged to keep it under fair control in my early 20s.. then I blossomed... I never could get a doc in Tennessee to give me a letter for banding (they are a little backwards about things like this still).. so I made the decision to get it done regardless! I went to Tiajuana Mexico in June 08 and was banded on 20th! I have lost a little over 30 pounds and I WOULD DO IT AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT! it isn't a "quick fix" but I believe I have the tools to succeed this time! My husband was born in Farmville Virginia... not far from you, I believe... Keep kin touch!
