I take it your still suffering ? Its a constant feeling for me and when I do eat its uncomfortable and then the feeling of nauseous hunger returns. ????

Hi All Really need some help and advice. So I'm 9 weeks post op and introducing lots of lovely health solid foods again ! However, I have continually got what I can only describe as a b Nauseous hunger feeling around my stomach and all I want to do is snack. Its a bit like acid reflux but there is no burning. I've tried reducing portion and bite sizes and chewing more but its just constant. Anyone else experienced this and will it ever go away ??? Thank u x x x

So I got my sleeve 3 days ago and fortunately no complications. However I have the WORST acid burn in my chest that literally flares up if I sip water to anything.... Is this normal and will it eventually disappear ? I never had acid burn before surgery

So provisionally booked for 24th October for a gastric sleeve Suddenly I feel very very anxious and worried I'm not going to cope Biggest concern is how I overcome knowing that I will never eat lovely food again and will miss out on all my favourite foods I know that's how I got obese in the first place but I am a HUGE comfort eater and I really enjoy food !! Help !!!

So I want a gastric sleeve. I have been up and down (mostly up) since I was a teenager...Im now 40 with 2 small children. Currently I weigh 390lb or 177kg....am I too large for this surgery ? I would love to hear stories and see pictures of anyone similar ?? Thanks

I've met with my private consultant and I have opted for a gastric sleeve I weigh 177kg. Can you please share your stories of sucess as I am very anxious ? I can't ever imagine being lighter? I'm so worried about sticking to new eating habits as I am a terrible snacker and comfort eater !

Hiya Can I ask how long the wait was between your initial consultation and actual surgery with the Nuffield? I have an appointment booked next week with the Nuffield and I'm hoping to get a gastric sleeve and I am seeing Mr Vinod Menon Also for the UK members, what did you do about informing your employers ? Do I have to tell them why I am absent and can I claim CSP ? Thanks
