Today is the first time I've logged on in several months. Not sure what happened, probably just got too busy during the day (since I am usually online during my work day) and got away from it.
November will be 4 years for me. My weight has been holding fairly steady for about 2 years now, but have yet to get to goal; still about 50 lbs. left to lose to get there. I have not given up on trying to get to goal. Having trouble getting kick started again though which is a bummer. Still exercising and am still healthy. Even made it through 2 surgeries last year without gain weight - gall bladder removal and shoulder surgery (not full rotator cuff, but close).
Every day that I don't give up is a successful day.

Almost to my 6 year sleeve procedure. I have started back on this site to help me loose the 40 lbs that I have regained in this past very stressful year.

I'm 6 1/2 years out and I've maintained pretty well. My goal weight was 150 and I'm about 10 pounds over that right now. I recently gained about 5 pounds due to stress from my sister dying (cancer). I've been turning to food for comfort and I need to get my butt back in gear.
I don't really exercise much (I'm changing that), and I've always eaten what I want but in moderation. I just started weight watchers - I want to get down to 145 because I feel that is a better weight for me. I'm really not concerned too much by the scale, but I don't like the way I feel and how my clothes fit right now. So I'm focusing on moving more and eating healthier.

Perimenopause is the scourge of the gods. I had been normal weight until then and had been able to eat huge quantities of food and never gain weight. Then perimenopause: 136 to 245 at my highest, over the years. For some of us, our metabolism nosedives.
You were doing great and still are in good shape. You've caught the gain creep in time and you're doing everything right -- logging/exercising... Maybe you might consider making a long list of really low-calorie foods (e.g., radishes, cherry tomatoes) that taste good and can satisfy snack cravings. Also, come to the forum whenever you need encouragement. Even if that means a few times a day for awhile. There are hundreds of thousands of posts by people who are in similar situations and also by people who have managed to overcome weight regain. We're in this together through the ups and downs. And we all, every one of us, go through them.

Hey! I’m not someone who has gotten it back off, but I am someone who has been working at it for the past week. I am in a similar boat in that I have gained quite a bit and I feel it. It’s horrible. I have more than 40 to lose and was sleeved in 2012. I came back to BP, started back with basics- Protein first, no eating and drinking at meals, and cut the crap. I’ve also been exercising again. I can post weekly updates here if you’d like. Start today. Good luck!
