  1. Hi Everyone. My name is Melissa. I am newcomer to this site and wanted to introduce myself. I was banded on June 2nd and I had a horrible week of post-op pain but started to feel better on post-op day 7. I have lost 25 pounds since I started and I go back to the doctor tomorrow for my second check-up and weigh-in. I am a little nervous because I feel like I have not lost any more weight since my first weigh-in. At first I was barely able to eat anything but now I feel like my appetite and ability to eat food is creeping back up. I am still not eating anywhere near what I was able to consume pre-op but those old habits are really hard to break. I feel like I am way too early in the journey to be getting back into old habits and I don't want to go back down that slippery slope. Any advice out there?
