Has anyone else experienced this!
  7. I am about almost 3 months post opp and today I kind of laid around didn’t get much sleep but didn’t eat and it was 2PM my stomach starting feeling crappy and pinching pain at the top and towards the ribs. Has anyone experienced this? Should I be worried? It also felt uncomfortable to lay straight on my back.
  8. What is wrong with me then?! ?
  9. Hi everyone, Im 4 weeks post opp and getting hungry in the evenings! I eat the three meals a day but at night I think I need a snack!
  10. I hope I don’t dump! You are so right that is why I measure out my food! I had coffee for the first time today and felt full from that?. Weird maybe due to the lactose free half n half?
  11. I get a full feeling drinking water sometimes. Thank you for that assurance I have been so scared to drink too much worried about busting staples cause my surgeon put the fear in me. He was like if you rupture you might not live. I’m at the beginning of my 4 week marker Wednesday I would think my stomach can handle at least fluids. I have my post opp tomorrow. I’m making a list of questions so J don’t miss anything at all!
  12. I would love to have cheese for whatever reason my surgeon has not approved that! That’s would be a good go to!
  13. That’s good information! Right now I’m having a hard time feeling full with 1/4 cup of food, maybe cause the food is very light that I’m eating! I think yogurt is the way to go I’m already super excited about eating parfaits this Wednesday when I can eat that! I only worry about that dumping syndrome that I bet sucks!
  14. I might have to travel soon, so I guess I will have to find something I can have or try to prepackaged my food! My surgeon is very strict!
  15. Thank you! Right now I’m so careful because I’m paranoid about busting any stitches that is part of my drinking water fear. Once I’m at 7 weeks the stomach should be healed and I can see why kind of water amounts I can drink.
  16. That’s so interesting surgeons are so different with what they allow. I’m entering my 4th week this Wednesday and have been 100% compliant just having the water intake issues. This week I will be able to have minestrone soup, egg salad, hummus, soft fruit. I can also have a little bit of bread and flaky white fish. I’m very excited to have something more than what I have had! thank you for you reply so I know in the far future I can go out and have some options! I love seafood so that is the restaurants I would like to go. There also are some great recipes on this Baritastic app I use. It’s just hard measuring out 1/2 cup for a meal when you want a variety.
  17. Hello so I was wondering if we can only have a half a cup of food how do we eat at gatherings? Or when we go out for nice dinners? I’m starting to feel like I will not be able to enjoy a nice meal out again?.
  18. Does the water stay cold? I guess it senses and sends reminders to your phone? I might have to invest! Thank you!
  19. I agree, I feel like once the 6 weeks is up and I know I can’t rupture staples inside I will feel more confident. I appreciate your comment! Thank you.
  20. I can’t wait! I am so scared not to mess my stitches up so I’m worried about drinking too much at one time! I can’t wait til it’s fully healed and I can drink more than sips at a time! I have been doing really bad because my diet plan from doctor doesn’t allow soup with juice, in at the stage right now where I can only have eggs, tuna fish right now. my water intake is too 27 ounces a day and In only peeing like 3 times a day?.
  21. My nutritionist doesn’t allow cheese this week I can only have week three egg, tuna and canes salmon. I can also have things from the previous week such as applesauce, yogurt, oatmeal low sugar.
