  1. i went to my doc for preop on yesterday 6/6 and was told I have haitel hernia as well. it's 2cm so I hoping this will not stop me from having the band once they cut me open. any comments out there for this??
  2. Hi, My name is Mia and I live in NC. I Started talking about the lap band in March 08. I attended a seminar at the local hospital and was intrigued by the conversations regarding the lap band. To make a long story short, I went ahead and made an appointment with the surgeon and completed all the requirements. Last week I got my approval letter from the insurance company and my surgery is scheduled for June 26, 2008. I am so excited but worried because of the 2 week liquid diet that I must follow starting June 12. Oh boy, do I need the support now.:tongue2:
