  1. I would love to hear from some folks about your weight loss after surgery the first 60 or 90 days after your sleeve surgery. I need inspiration. I am on this liquid diet and surgery in 6 days!
  2. Add Miralax to your morning drink or shake, I also take stool softeners and have been reasonably regular

I feel like the sleeve gives me my best chance to eat "normally". I hope this keeps working like it is now, I am very happy with the sleeve. I believe having the lapband before has helped. I eat slow and can tell when I am getting full. I don't want to over do it!

Congrats on your weight loss, 28#'s in 4 weeks is incredible. I have lost almost 40 lbs since 1/25 when I got the call about scheduling surgery on 1/25. I have lost 23 lbs since surgery on 2/23. I hve been able to drink fluids pretty much normally since surgery. I too can eat almost a cup of food with out pushing it or getting sick feeling. I am eating about 1000 cals a day.
  7. Thanks...I took alot of vitamins pre op. I think I am going to add some back in.
  8. Thanks for the info...I will check this out.
  9. Good info.Thanks....Did you try a capsule or pill?
  10. How long before you were able to kick BP Meds to the curb? I have been on them about 10 years and have had some really low readings at times since surgery. I also suspect they create a little weight gain. Looking forward to being off these in the near future!
  11. That is the best deal. Are you taking anything else? I want to hear from others
  12. Hey Chiquita...I had surgery the same day. I have lost 22 pounds so about the same. I had two 5 day stalls in the first month. I m confident this will be successful as long as we stick to plan.
  13. I too had this problem. Blend with ice in a bullet and just drink half at a time. It makes it easier.
  14. I would do this when I had the band too. I hated that damn band!! I would sneeze when full. Anyone else experience this or have another trigger?
  15. How many calories are you guys getting in a day on average? I am only one week post op and have a Zoom call with Doctors office today and do not remember hearing a number from surgery to regular diet. Let me hears from you on you caloric story after surgery. Thanks
  16. I got the call on Jan 25th that I was scheduled for surgery on 2/23. I was postponed from the original date of 12/16 becuse of Covid spike. I have lost 34 lbs since 1/25 about half before surgery and half since. This is my second stall in less than 4 weeks. The first lasted 4-5 days. I am on day 5 of the second stall. I am around 1000 calories a day, getting all my liquid and Protein. Hopefully this won't last much longer and the scales will start moving again....very frustrating.

    STALLED AGAIN!!

I've had 2 stalls in 27 days, about 5 days each time. This is a marathon and a way of life once you get to your normal diet phase. I am in semi normal which is pretty good. Once you start eating again it doesn't take much to make you full!
