I am not talking about head hunger or just wanting to eat something. Like no hunger because of loss of the hunger hormone in the portion of your stomach that was removed. I am hoping this last a good while because well...IT IS AWESOME!

I hit a 5 day stall about a week after surgery and started intermittent fasting. I take all of my calories in between 12 noon and 6pm. Then fst for 18 hours. It is pretty simple since I am not hungry anyway. It got the scales moving again. I think we have to fool our bodies sometime. I will hit anothe stll and I will try something else. This is working good for now. How bout you? Any Tricks?

Thanks Matty, I knew I wasn't alone here, I think I will believe what my Doc told me. Its is hard to believe that when someone is less than 2 weeks out from surgery they are hungry. I ws replying to someone that recently had the surgery that I have been talking to for a few weeks. She has no hunger either. I am not sure what that was all about. Have a great weekend!

You can blend with crushed ice in a bullet and have a pretty tasty shake as well!!

SORRY....BUT For me I have had ZERO HUNGER...NONE! I am not sure how long this will lst if it is a few weeks, months or years. My surgeon who has been doing Bariatric surgery for over 30 years told me I may not experience any hunger for up to 4 years. I trust him.I also had zero pain and had a lap band removed the same day, thats just me but I can't be alone. He has much more experience with this than anyone on here other than some bariatric doctors. I am going to stick with what he told me for now until something changes. I hd Sleeve surgery not bypass. I've had no problem with water intake. I can drink water just as well now than pre surgery it seems. Last day of clear liquid then Liquid for 2 weeks I think. I seem to have some swelling or bloating in my abdomen. I dont think this is gas. Could be trauma from surgery and swollen maybe? Trocar sites are itchy but seem to be healing well. Anyone experience similar? Thanks for any input. I am incourged by absolutely no hunger at this point!!

I feel like I could have a protein shake morning or mid day from here on out. They taste good to me and flll me up.

Thanks for the advice. I will check in with my nutrisionist on Monday. I have never been much of breakfast fan. I drink a shake with collgen protein and whey protein and crushed ice and blend. I am getting in about 1000 calories a day,which is at the high end of what I am supposed to get in at this point. I sincerly thank everyone and appreciate your input!
