thanks for the reply. no i havent made my final decision yet. i tried to get a loan a few months ago for another procedure but didnt have any luck because i dont have much credit and the credit that i do have is not all that good. even tried with my bff and hubby as a co-signer and no luck so i just gave up. i started a new job a mnth ago and will have cigna health ins in 2 more mnths and i am going to try and see if that will cover it. are u ever sick (vomiting?)

thanks for the response....wow! u are doing good! i am scared because i am scared of always being sick! i have known others to have the procedure done and they are alwasy throwing up or sick and i cant deal with that! good that u are not one of them! if u are down to 285 from 316 then u are doing good!

thanks for ur comment on my purple page...lol...i love purple. i havent gotten far at all. i am just researching right now. not sure that i am going to be able to afford it because i dont have insurance, dont think i can get a loan because i dont have any credit which is just like having no credit and i sure cant pay cash....i have been heavy since having my 1st baby in 1996 and since then i have just blown up, had 2 more kids and i love to eat. junk the most! i looked into the lapband about 1 yr ago and didnt do it because my husband was so against it so i didnt pursue it anymore and now i back into lookin at it again. i am a sista too but couldnt get my pic to load. ur pic drew me to you. u are so pretty! any info you have would be helpful..thanks for ur replies

thanks for ur relpy! u have done well! good for u! i am thinking that i am wanting the band because it is reversible. i am just scared because of erosion, slippage or vomiting. have u had to change your way of eating?

thanks for ur rely.i do have questions about the band as i am leaning more towards rny because of the fact that i have heard soo much about the band that scares me..it seems like everyone gets a revison to another surgery with the band...is that normal? i am sooo scared of things getting stuck all the time and i am terrified of vomiting and PB-ing all the time...HELP..any advice?

thanks for ur reply! i was thinking about the band and then my attention turned more towards the vertical sleeve procedure but being that it is not reversible, i am not so sure that i want it...i am again thinking about the band and just getting all the info i can on it right now...

YES i am looking into lapband and i am really scared. looked into it last yr and never moved forward and now here i am again looking into it. i am scared for 2 reasons, well 3. i am scared to be put asleep, scared and dont want to be vomiting all the time and also scared for long term. other than that i think i am all good. i dont know for sure yet how i am going to pay for the procedure because i just started a new job and ins dont kick in til 8-01 but that doesnt meant that they are going to cover me. i dont have good credit and i barely have any credit so i am not sure that i can be financed either. any ideas?

Thinking about the lapband...Ur pics look great! U have any regrets? Ever sick since u had the procedure done?
