  1. I have had the same situation. I was banded January 08 and have lost 68 pounds, have 16 to go for goal weight. My doctor told me if you can a egg of any kind for breakfast, your band needs a fill. I had my 3rd fill in July. I was on a plateau, but then the scale started moving again. I find that when I have breakfast, it is always harder than at night. Just keep up good work!!
  2. Hey welcome! Never be shy to ask questions. I have met some wonderful fellow lapbanders on here. Everyone supports everyone and helps each other out. Feel fee anytime!
  3. My surgery was jan 22, 2008. Last visit to doctor was may 2008. I was only 27 pounds from goal at that appt. Did you have a plateau at all during your process? if you did what did you do?
  4. I keep track. My surgery was january 22, 2008. Last time I was at Dr (may 2008) I was down 60 pounds and was only 27 lbs from goal. So I think it is just a small plateau. Did you have one at all? If you did what did you do for it? Help ? ! LOL!
  5. Nervous, tomorrow is my 6 month weigh in. I dont think the scale has moved. I feel full, exercise regularly, do I or dont I have band adjusted again? Opinions would be helpful. I am leaning towards no adjust and see what happens in the next couple of months. Hoping someone out there can help with idea!
  6. I am also at a stand still. I just had my surgery in january 2008. I have only lost 5 pounds in past 5 weeks. I am down 60 total since surgery, but am only 25 pounds from goal. I have noticed I have been eating differently also. Very disappointed with myself too. Any suggestions for plateau? Keep in touch, we can help each other over this hurdle! Have a great weekend.
  7. I was banded in January 2008. Always looking for someone to be a lapband buddy/mentor. Even though I have support from my family and coworkers, it is nice to have outside support. If anyone is available, let me know!! I am only 25 pounds from goal weight and could use that little extra support, just like anyone else.
  8. I have had this too. I am only 25 pounds from goal weight. I have family that is very supportive. And I just reassure myself, I did this for me, not for those people who think it will fail. hope that helps.
  9. In have hit my plateau, reading your article helped me. Thanks
  10. Hello, I was banded in January 22, 2008. I have lost 60 pounds since the surgery. I have reached a plateau, that I knew would come eventually. I am not sure what I can do more to help get over it and start loosing again. I am only 20-25 pounds from my goal weight. If anyone has suggestions please, I am open for ideas.
