Yay!!! Thanks for the info...I have not been on a supervised diet in the last past 2 yrs...Is that going to be a problem? Are u saying that u did the 6 mnths with ur Dr's nutritionist and that was ok for the ins co?

hey girl! i spoke to another rep who told me that wls was excluded unless medically necessary soooo i am sure that mines is going to be considered medically necessary since i have a BMI of 49..i dont have any other comorbities unless they use depression as one...i do have back aches and pain in my legs sometimes...i will mention that to the dr..i have decided to give wade barker a try..i have a consult on 12/4 at 5:45 so atleast i made the 1st step! whooo-hoo....how are u feeling? girl my husband is really stressed as i have been looking at the RNY alot...i hear sooo much about revision etc with the lapband that it scares me...what u think?

no i am still just getting all the info on the lapband. i really was more intrested in the vsg(vertical sleeve gasterectomy) and tried months ago to get financed and had no luck at all because i dont have any credit. i am definetly scared of the RNY because i have know others to have that and be really sick! let m know how things go for u. u have a dr picked out yet?

thanks for ur rely.i do have questions about the band as i am leaning more towards rny because of the fact that i have heard soo much about the band that scares me..it seems like everyone gets a revison to another surgery with the band...is that normal? i am sooo scared of things getting stuck all the time and i am terrified of vomiting and PB-ing all the time...HELP..any advice?

No dear I don't have a date as of yet! I went thru some financial problems a few mnths back trying to get someone to finance me for the Vertical Sleeve Gasterectomy procedure and I am trying to re-cooperate from that. That is not a reversible procedure so I am thinkin more and getting more back into the lapband procedure. STILL I have got to have the funds...Thanks for askin! How are u??

thanks for ur reply! i was thinking about the band and then my attention turned more towards the vertical sleeve procedure but being that it is not reversible, i am not so sure that i want it...i am again thinking about the band and just getting all the info i can on it right now...

Hey there! How are you?? Long time no talk to! How are things with u??? I am going to need guidance. I am really looking into this procedure again! I am soooo scared. My husband is not for it and then on top of that last time that I was all into this I couldn't find anyone to finance me being that I have no credit at all which is just like bad credit. I am going to have insurance as of 11/14 with a new company that I work for thru Cigna but not sure that they cover it. What would u sugggest?
