WOW. I AM ALSO THINKING ABOUT BEING BANDED LIKE ASAP BUT THAT IS THE ONE MAIN THING THAT I AM SCARED OF BECAUSE I DONT WANT TO BE ALWAYS THROWING UP OR GAGGING. THAT IS WHY I WISH THERE WAS A WAY TO TELL B4 HAND WHAT U CAN AND CANT EAT BECAUSE I DONT EVEN WANT TO CHANCE IT!

yes, pls send me the diet information. i need all the help that i can get. i dont know that i can afford it but i also think that i am ready. like i said the only fears are being out to sleep and always vomiting that is it. thanks so much for the information and ur will to help. have a good night!

brandyII, yes i am not sure what i am going to do because as i stated if i miss taking the effexor one day, i am sick. do u know if u are able to still take capsules after the lapband because i was told you cant. how are you doing with the lapband? -
drew05..yes u did help...thanks so much because i was wondering what PB meant and know i know. i am scared and funny that you mentioned no weird dreams because i am scared that once they put me out that i am gonna have a bad dream and cant wake up..lol...scared is not even the word. then i dont want anything to go wrong afterwards like slippage, erosion or anything like that. i have been lookin into dr wade barker and benavides here in dallas because i was told that they are good dr's. i just got to find a way to pay for this procedure because i just started a new job and insurance kicks in on the 1st if august but with me being new i am not so sure that they are gonna want to pay for that. also i have credit, just not enough. hopefully something works out soon. i dont even want to go to seminars or consultations because i dont want to get my hopes up high for nothing and then cant pay! thanks again for ur support~

auntlucy....i dont mind the long post at all. i enjoy all the information i can get. thanks so much for replying and sharing all that u did with me. i have never heard of dr hamm so if you can give me some info on him that would be helpful. i am still not sure how i am going to pay being that i just started a new job and insurance kicks in 8/01, but i dont know that with me being so new on the plan they are gonna want to cover me. i also have some credit but i am always told not enough. pls keep me updated as you progress. where are u located?

Gayle Tx, thanks so much for all your important information. YES the family thinks I am A ok because I dont have health problems "AT THE MOMENT". My mom is very heavy set and she has alot of health problems and she is really scared of weight loss surgery. I am scared too but I have to do something to make Lora feel better. I have gotten depression and it has caused me not to feel attractive at all. I dont want to live this way no more. I have been on too many yo-yo diets and I am just tired of it. I loose good at first and as you stated I gain it back and some. As far as my credit goes, I have some but not enough and my income is too much for medicaid. I am going to have insurance as of Aug 1st but beeing that it is going to be a new policy for me at a new job I am not so sure that is going to go too well. Thanks for all your information and I will let you know as I move forward.

i am thinking about gettin banded and i am on effexor and it is horrible. i have gained soooo much weight on it and if u miss one day from taking it, u are sick. i hate it! i was on zoloft for anxiety and depression and it stopped working so i was swiched to effexor xr. worst mistake ever! -
i saw ur message on the posts and i am also thinking about the lapband. let me know what you find out about benavides. i have heard good of him and wade barker alot. i am not sure how i am going to pay for mines yet because i dont have insurance and i am not sure that i can get it financed because i dont have credit which is like having bad credit. by the way, i am in dallas tx too, actually mesquite. let me know anything you can. hope to talk to u soon

u know i look back on what u wrote and i am how u WERE. i have depression. i dont feel attractive which causes problems in my marriage and with other aspects of the marriage if you know what i mean. i have 3 kids and i have been heavy for a while, i am only 4"10 and i weight like 235 so i am really wanting to get this weight off. my mom is very heavy and has been her whole life and i have seen her struggle with it and i am not about to do the same. i am 30 and it is time to make a change. just gotta figure out how i am gonna pay for the procedure.

thanks for ur comment on my purple page...lol...i love purple. i havent gotten far at all. i am just researching right now. not sure that i am going to be able to afford it because i dont have insurance, dont think i can get a loan because i dont have any credit which is just like having no credit and i sure cant pay cash....i have been heavy since having my 1st baby in 1996 and since then i have just blown up, had 2 more kids and i love to eat. junk the most! i looked into the lapband about 1 yr ago and didnt do it because my husband was so against it so i didnt pursue it anymore and now i back into lookin at it again. i am a sista too but couldnt get my pic to load. ur pic drew me to you. u are so pretty! any info you have would be helpful..thanks for ur replies

i see that u were recently banded. how are things going for u? i am thinking about it but scared and dont want to be vomiting all the time. any advice?

thanks so much for your reply! i am scared of always vomiting. dont have insurance right now but i will next month and scared they arent going to cover it being that it is a new plan. then i dont have good credit whcich is like having no credit at all, so i may not be able to get a loan...not sure what i want to do.

thanks for ur reply. i am scared of always vomiting. i cant deal with that. i have care credit and they wont give me an increase. i dont have insurance yet and i will in july but i am going to be on a new policy so i am not sure they are gonna even think about covering it. i dont have credit which is the same as having no credit so not so sure that i can get a loan either.
