  3. i am two weeks out as of friday. i too am a stomach sleeper. i can really only sleep on my back and side. the left side is much better than the right. my port is directly in the middle under the boobs. I cannot do the stomach yet, it is really too sore still.
  4. i am exactly two weeks out today and feel like i could eat normal. the hunger is definately there. however, i have noticed that i can't eat as much and I don't have a fill.
  5. 3 Loves, I believe (in texas anyway) that the insurance company has 30 days from the date of the initial request to either APPROVE OR deny your predetermination. You might want to check with your states insurance codes. You should easily be able to find it online! Hang in there, you are very close! kj
  6. 3 loves..... it is friday, what did you find out? fingers and toes are crossed!
  7. right back atcha!
  8. i am almost 2 weeks out (this friday will be 2 weeks) i feel like i can eat a horse. i have very very little restriction, i am just trying to stick to atkins as best as i can.
  9. doing the happy dance for you girlfriend. good thoughts produce good results. i will pray for you!!!
  10. i too had this concern. i am scheduled for my first fill on april 6th and that is NASCAR weekend in Dallas. I tried to schedule for a few day after and my dr. will be on vacation for 3 weeks. there is no way i can go without. i am two weeks out of surgery now and feel like i could eat a cow. i would just hate to be 4 hours away from home and be miserable because i am over filled. any sugestions?
  11. just walk and toot, walk and toot! also try mylanta and sleep on your left side on a heating pad. that really helped me a lot. good luck and it does get better. i am two weeks out tomorrow and feel pretty damn good. you also might want to eat some steamed brocolli. that produces gas so it might get it moving for you too. i ate some at about a week out, i thought my husband was going to die heheheheheh!!! paybacks!
  12. Kellie, how about 6packbelliekellie?
  13. do you think it is reflux? it sounds like the gas problem that alot of us have experienced. reflux is heartburn. does it feel the same or does it feel like a heart attack?
  14. Yeah Kim, hope you are feeling better soon!
  15. Get well quick Kellie, and yes that screen name has to change! Can't wait to see the sexy tummy!
  16. I would assume it is the same as smoking cigarettes. How in the world does she handle the munchies? Yeek that would be very hard!

Wierd Science.... chips, dips, chains and whips.. a little candlewax on the nipples! I am a sick woman!
  18. okay, so i think you are being absolutley selfish! what if you were to get into an accident and it was your daughters best friend? All because you wanted to drive home? Don't be crazy, get a friend to bring you home. Its much safer!
  19. Jonathan, I am sorry, I am new to this group. Why do you have to have your band removed? I am so sorry!
  20. I was banded 3/3/06 and have some little pains where the port is. This morning I woke up and that area was really hard and I could feel it. Not like the shape, but alot of hard pressure. The pain is actually below the port area. The port is just below my rib cage dead center. Cause for concern or just normal healing things? Your input is welcomed!
  21. good luck girlie! See you on the other side!
  22. Yes he used to. Cat puts on a pretty big shin-dig in texas. We actually get passes to the hospitality booth each year. You have Breakfast with the Cat 22 driver, then get to tour the pits. It is really interesting. We have some awesome upclose pics of the cars and crews. Where we camp, we usually go to the infield on saturday night and hang out in the drivers section (basically stalk the entrance/exit). We have met Jimmy Johnson, Sterling Marlin (his is an ass$%#), Ward Burton, Dale Jarrett and a few others. It is fairly inexpensive for us because of the tickets that Cat gives us and all the other tickets (ie. busch, outlaw and truck) we "expense" on my husbands work account. We do take 1 customer of his who is a very good friend. Anyway we own a travel trailer so our camp site is only $150 for the whole week. The track is in a "dry" county so we get to bring a 14"x14" cooler per person. We bring lots of beer, and lunch/snacks so for the most part it's cheap. We always go overboard though on the t-shirts, hats etc.... what can I say?
  23. well considering I have only seen Texas live, i'd have to say texas! It is an awe inspiring site! I do like California too! We are fortunate that we have family close. I have a 4 year old son that loves Jr. and Kayse Kane and wants to go to the races so bad. We told him that when he was 6 we'd take him. If you ever get a chance to go to the races you will appreciate the sport even more! My husband works for Catepillar so we always get great seats and it is the most amazing experience every time! Especially when the stealth bomber flys over! My goodness is it breathtaking!
  24. Obviously I love Nascar too! We actually go every year to Dallas for the Dickies/Sharpie 500! We just got two races last year! This year I am scheduled for my first fill which is April 6 and that is also race weekend so i am having some real issues if i should change my appointment. i want to be able to see Carl Edwards win that race and not have to worry about anything. NASCAR rocks! We love going to the races. We actually camp there usually beginning Weds and come home on Monday. It is one of our family yearly vacations (without the kids of course). We have about 20 people that we camp with every year. It is a great time. This year 6 of us couples have agreed that we will do Talladega in October then Texas again in November! I really love Mark Martin but since this is his last year, I needed to find another RR driver to root for! Kj
  25. my doctor put one of those "sea sick" patches behind my ear and I wore it for the first four days. you might want to send someone to the store for some. that really helped me quite a bit. good luck!
