  1. I really like Dr. Suggs. I had my surgery 6/2/08 and have lost about 85 lbs. He is very personable and doesn't act all high and mighty like a lot of doctors do.
  2. Hello! I've been lurking for about 2 years. Finally decided to join in. I had surgery 6/2/08 in Decatur, AL. I started out at 315 lbs. and now I'm at 234 lbs. Seem to be stalled at the moment. I think I need to be jumpstarted, mentally. I figured this is the best place to start. I've really enjoyed reading all of your posts. Everybody gives so much support and I think that's what I need. I'm 39 yrs. old, married and have two wonderful special needs daughters. Trying to get healthy for them so their mom can be around to take care of them for a long time. :smile2:
