  15. I’m 2 wks out from surgery (3/6) and have just started in mushy foods. I had two bites of scrambled eggs and I was completely full! 2 hours have passed and I’m still full to the point that I can’t even sip water... Is this normal? How long will this last? Definitely not getting my water in right now....?

  18. It definitely is making a difference... Glad you are feeling better.
  19. Hi all... I’m one week post op today and 12lbs down. I am on full liquids and experience some of the bloating if I let too much time pass between meals. I was told today that I should be doing to protein shakes. 1st an hour after waking then snack mid morning, then lunch ( protein shake or soup) then snack and then dinner (soup or protein shake). I have to have a total of 64oz of fluids. So that’s sipping water all day. This would alleviate the bloating and fatigue. I wasn’t getting in enough calories. Lastly, walking, walking, walking... Hope this helps...
  20. I’m Definitely going to do that... I have to buy cucumbers and mint and strawberries to infuse my water
  21. Thank you all for your encouragement... Increasing my fluids is something that I know I have to do... I’ve been sipping but so far have not been able to do a full 64oz... just going to be more intentional with the sipping set that as my goal. 64oz minimum...
  22. Yup... There should be less calories if you just have the caldo... sopa de habichuela negra... another option...
  23. You are absolutely right! I know that I’m heading down dehydration road.... I just have to do it... ?
  24. Hola... I’m Dominican as well so I know what you are talking about... I would say el caldo de soap de pollo (chicken soup) or blend the sopa till smooth.... Sancocho (hearty soup) again just the caldo or blend smooth... I am definitely going to be doing some sopa...
  25. Hello everyone, I am day 4 post gastric sleeve and I am feeling exhausted... I have Hr in the low 100 and feel a bit sob.... just started full liquids today... Just wondering if any of you experienced this. I’m probably starting to get a bit dehydrated and should up my fluids but it’s been challenging to drink 64oz... Any thought/ experience?
