Pre-op picking
I did too but the last 72 hours followed protocol plus you will take that stuff to flush you out. Just make sure you don’t do anything that could enlarge your liver it is one of the reasons for the diet. Good luck

February 2020 Post-Op Thread
So far in my journey this is what I have done and has seemed to work. I drink 2-3 protein shakes a day or eat once or twice adjusting protein shakes. I keep moving as much as possible doing anything. I utilize our treadmill and do yard work. I do some walks here and there too. Sometimes I lift weights high reps low weight. No cheese, rice, potatoes, pasta or anything if goes in my mouth either grilled chicken fish maybe piece of steak and either piece of apple or some vegetable. Every thing seems to get hot sauce or vinegar with pepper. Now always have cravings for pickles plus eat almonds and shelled walnuts if want snack. Besides the beer I drank I’ll drink only abit of black coffee protein shake or water. Everyone keep up the work stay on course I feel the head hunger wanting the junk food Both my wife and son are skinny and eat everything pizza chips ect if I can take it you guys can too. It is a good feeling when no one recognizes you. Good luck WE ALL WIN!

February 2020 Post-Op Thread
I’m almost 90 days since surgery five days away. Weight loss has been going with a few stalls here and there. Been outside doing something weather permitting and using the treadmill when rains or lifting high reps low weight. I’m only doing about 480 to 600 calories a day. I really like the protein shakes That’s mainly what I consume daily as not very hungry. Maybe I will have one meal and 2 shakes a day or 3 shakes and a snack, carrots or almonds in a day.Always make protein and water I sweat through all of my clothing everyday make sure I have t shirt and sweatshirt on. One of my big goals is to be 250 or lighter by Mid June for my son’s graduation. Everyone keep working stay focused and safe! We will all succeed SW 349 today 276.2 Surgery date 2/6/20

Gatorade before surgery?
I did as directed nothing after midnight. My surgery was at 1:30pm. I was stuck 3 times with that big needle. On the 4th try where I first said to stick me at worked. I still have 1 massive bruise on my hand and 3 others.
