  1. Hello everyone, I have a couple questions about post surgery dietary restrictions. I am signed up for my surgery for March 17 and I am trying to get as informed as possible. I understand that there are phases of reintroducting solid foods and there are limits on what you can eat. But how do those restrictions work longterm? How about a year or two years after surgery? I know this is a lifestyle change but will someone reverse their progress if they have something sweet once in a blue moon (a year post surgery for example)? I have also heard that drinking soda stretches your stomach. Does this apply to all sugar foods? Ultimately, I am ready to make dietary changes but I am worried about whether I am signing up for a irreversible surgery in which ill never be able to have an occasional treat?
