  1. hi, my name is kim and i am 7weeks out and am down 22 lbs. i had my first fill 2weeks ago and had absolutely no restriction at all so i went back on friday and got another. i guess i was not prepared to be so restricted. i still can't get anything down except liquids - also had my first pb experience trying to eat a few teaspoons of rice pudding - not good! i am supposed to go away for the weekend with some friends to a womens conference but i am not sure what i will be able to tolerate. any idea how long this will last? i feel like i had just gotten to a point of eating "normally" and that party is over! for now anyway any suggestions...
  2. thanks for the tips, i am on lortab for painand it seems to work well for short periods of time. like you mentioned i just did not expect to be in this much discomfort. but benadryl is a good suggestion. i am going to ask my doc about that. also going to try to recliner for sleeping tonight and see if that helps. what is going down well for you right now as far as your liquid diet. i tried some broth today and that was not the best.
  3. hi, just wanted to introduce myself. i was banded on friday 5/23. i have been home for 2 days and am feeling pretty good but having a terrible time getting comfortable enought to sleep through the night. any suggestions?
