  1. I’m a type 1 diabetic. I am scheduled to have my surgery done on the 13th of this month. I am having the gastric bypass done with Dr Lytle in Atlanta. My CW is 228 and I’m doing this for the benefit of reducing my insulin intake and losing this unwanted weight. Does anyone have any insight for me? Did this actually reduce your insulin intake? Also I’m on the minimed 670g system. Should help prevent them from needing to check my sugar at weird times of the night. Thanks in advance!!
