  1. I was also banded on 13 May, but on the other side of the planet (Australia). I had two nights in hospital and am still staying with my parents while I get back on my feet. The gas pain has been a real test, but my doctor suggested Infacol (used for babies' wind pain) and that seems to have eased it somewhat. The main issue at the moment is trying to sleep - because of my size I have been sleeping with my head raised for a while, but due to the gas I have needed to sleep nearly upright. Has anyone else had this problem? Does it ever ease? Regardless of these little issues, I have lost 10kgs (about 20lbs I think) since the surgery - Yay!!!
