  1. Yes no this wouldn’t work in our house. I’m sure it would work when my older 2 were much younger.
  2. Well I’m just 7 weeks out so I can’t eat everything. My family eats pasta and things of that nature that I can’t eat. It’s not even a question if I’m going to make them change their diets with me. I have kids ages 2-17.
  3. What types of food do you keep on hand? The meatballs are a great idea.
  4. This surgery has become overwhelming! I can’t find anything to eat, and each day I’m cooking 2 meals! One for me and one for my family. I run a business and really don’t have time. This has become too much for me. Can you share some meal ideas that me and my family can eat. Also I don’t meal prep past 2 days. After 2 days I throw it out. I have wasted so much money on food it’s ridiculous.
  5. Hi all! Well I’m slowly getting through this new phase in my life and becoming closer with Sleevie (my sleeve) everyday. Just need a little advice. I am about tired of water because it tastes funny. I use to love water and now I can only drink about 8oz before it starts tasting funny. What type of juice can we have? Also as far as food it seems I can only tolerate ground beef and shrimp. I haven’t tried too much just yet. I don’t do protein shakes instead I eat my protein. My go to meals now are eggs, bacon, mini meatloafs, and chip less nachos. Please I need more meal options. Thanks you. I wish I could have some fruit!
  6. Thanks for replying. Can I ask what did you did in place of protein shakes?
  7. What did you do in place of the shakes?
  8. I’m sorry this has nothing to do with emotional eating. I have just recently had surgery. I couldn’t get anything down. However thanks to some fantastic people with their helpful insight I am trying different things! Thanks
  9. Thank you for your support. However not once did I state that I cheated! My tastebuds changed drastically after the surgery towards the protein shakes (Unjury & Premier) and I can’t find any protein that won’t make my tummy hurt. Can you suggest something different?
  10. Thanks. I do think we are all adults on this forum. It’s really aggravating to keep seeing the non-supportive responses (not saying your is non-supportive).
  11. Hi I was wondering during the purées stage if I could have Lump crab spinach dip puréed? Crab is high in protein and I’m scared to eat meat right now and honestly don’t have a craving for it. I tried Chick-fil-A grilled nuggets puréed and let’s say they don’t purée well.
  12. No one or nothing can prepare you for what’s to come. You just have to go through it. I only spoke my mind and if you can not offer positive support, go on to the next post. It’s simple.
  13. That is so awesome for you!! You still replying on my post tho. Get off of it!
  14. You can never prepare enough for this surgery UNTIL you go through it. Keep trolling with your insensitive comment!
  15. I will be glad when I progress to real food. Right now it’s just horrible.
  16. No I don’t have any complications. Half of your stomach is removed so it’s hard to take in a lot of anything right now.
  17. I am 8 days post op and I’m over it!!! I haven’t been getting in my protein. I am craving food and can’t eat crap. For all of this I would rather stay fat!
