  2. I have Hypothyroidism as a result of Hashimoto's. I'm affraid my metabolism is going to be stunted because of the effects of absorbtion of the pills i take. I know I'm seeing an endocrinologist, but my anxiety around it is I've done this surgery for nothing. I've lost about 26lbs the past 3 weeks (post surgery) which feels great, but with a goal weight of 130 (I'm currently 201), it feels impossible with this standing in my way. Any advice?
