the first 2 weeks were so tough for me, i feel your pain! i really survived off of Protein Shakes and greek yogurt. not the best food choices but they did the job. my biggest problem was drinking enough fluids. i’m at 5 weeks post op and i just got cleared for soft solid foods and it hasn’t been all that great so far but i wish you luck!

you could try sugar free powerade! i was recently told by my doctor that i was dehydrated and to drink 2 a day and honestly i do feel better now. but i also do the sf crystal light

has anybody tried carbonated drinks after surgery? if so how long after surgery did you wait to try and was it successful? i LOVE seltzer Water and can’t wait to have it again lol

i had surgery on october 3rd. i go for my 2 week post op apmt on wednesday. so i’m not sure how much weight i’ve lost but i was on an all liquid diet 2 weeks before surgery and then after surgery was 1oz of purée every 2.5-3hs and as of yesterday i upgraded to 2oz 4-6 times a day. it’s been pretty rough so far but it’ll all be worth it!

My favorite is the Premier Protein Cookies and cream flavor. I buy them at costco.
