  3. Ok had the same thing. Dr said it was too much bile going into the gut causing loose stools, diarrhea and foul, very foul smelling stool. Dr gave me colestipol prescription granules and all of it disappeared overnight so after months and months of all this, the colestipol stopped it in one day. Anyway I now am down to once or twice a week taking the colestipol and I am normal again. No diarrhea, no loose stool, no foul smelling stools and no more very foul constant gas etc no nothing. Ps if I don’t take granules at least once a week it will come back in 2-3 days all the foul everything. But once I take it again it goes away in a day. The exact name of my prescription is colestipol hydrochloride for oral suspension 500 grams

  5. I had gastric sleeve in 2015 and never had problems with sulfur type smelling foul gas / stool. Then I had a hiatal hernia in November 2020, that the surgeon repaired and at the same time revised me from a sleeve to a bypass, now I’m having very bad passing of this very foul smelling gas and stool. Dr gave me prescription Colestipol Hydrochloride granules to stop extra bile from going into the large intestine. When I took it everything went away and I was ok. He also scheduled me for a specialized SIBO test?, small intestine bacteria test, to make sure overgrowth of bad bacteria is not growing in the small intestine, hope this helps everyone on this forum.

Kaiser being so big if you don’t get a good feeling on the surgeons in your area Kaiser being big you can see a doctor that makes you comfortable from another area / region the classes will go by quickly

  21. But it still feels like I’m low on something and or deficient on vitamins, protein, mineral or fluid intake. I’ve lost 100 pounds total since my surgery in 2015.
