  1. Got veggies, chicken breast, and fibs on the grill, of course I’ll be eating very little, but I love grilling.
  2. Hi. I started at 475lbs. Day of surgery, in October 2018, I was 430lbs. It’s now September 2019. I was down to 325lbs 1-2 weeks ago. I am now at 311lbs. Stalled for a couple months, stopped taking protien drinks. Started dropping again.
  3. Strange thing is, I just had someone ask me recently if I had gout...like it goes with gastric bypass. I don’t have it, but I’m curious now.

    Post your progress pics!

Started around 475lbs, surgery day was 430lbs, 11months out, I’m at 318lbs. Headed for 200, my goal. Feel so much better, way more active. Most health issues gone completely. It was and is worth it. Happier by miles!
  5. So around the first couple months of 2018, I decided my health was bad enough to do the drastic. Weighing at around 475lbs, out of control diabetic, a lot of health stuff, couldn’t do anything hardly but sit around dying, slowly. Fast forward to October 2018, day of my surgery was at 430lbs. It’s September 2019, I’m at 318lbs. I feel so much better! I’m in my first stall. My goal is 200lbs or under. My diabetes is nowhere to be found, from the day of my surgery to now, it’s totally good, no more insulin. I’m going to the gym2-3 times a week. I have a few pics to see. Tried to do before, during and after in order. The last pic is about a week ago.

    My journey

None of my clothes are fitting well. Digging out old stuff that used to fit, even some of that is getting too big. Look like the saggy baggy elephant. But I’d rather be saggy than dead or like I was. Some people say “ I don’t know how you do it.” I say, I don’t know why it took so long!

    Protein

I do at least one protein shake a day. 1 cp of soy milk, 5 tblsp of low-fat cottage cheese, 5 tblsp 0 fat Greek Yogurt, 1 scoop of protien powder. Adds up to approx 45 grams of protien. About 350 calories.

    Seafood

What is that experience called, I’ve had that a few times, and I always end up vomiting. Its only happened like 3 times, and it was when I forgot to chew enough. I learned not to do it.

    Seafood

Seafood gumbo, without the rice is good too.
  10. I usually have a protein shake for breakfast, can of chilli for lunch, and a sensible dinner with fish, turkey, or chicken. With some veggies. And maybe a teaspoon of carbs.

How many calories do you eat a day?

Ok, I though starting at the gym would help. It hasn’t. I do more strength than cardio. I do 2 miles on stationary bike then at least 20,000 lbs, of weight movement.

And I only eat maybe a cup of food at a time, sometimes less.

How many calories do you eat a day?

Well I’m more accurately at 1000 calories give or take 1-2 hundred . So add calories? That seems like it would not work, but I could try it. I usually drink at least one protein shake a day. I can eat almost anything, other than junk food, which I stay away from, as long as I chew it enough.

How many calories do you eat a day?

I’m sure. I use a Bariatric calorie ap every day. I count everything, and read and log labels.

How many calories do you eat a day?

My surgery was oct. 2018. On my surgery day I was 430lbs. I’m now at 318lbs. I’m staying around 1000 calories a day. Going to the gym 3 times a week. Usually burning under or just at 1000 calories when at gym. I’ve stalled and been around 320 for about a month or two.

How many calories do you eat a day?

I think a key is to chew very thoroughly, and eat SLOW. I can eat more than a cup at once also, if I wanted too. I stop once I get full. I asked the DR. about the pouch stretching, he said it takes a very long time to stretch out your pouch.
