  1. My surgeon told me no alcohol for two years, and then only when I had no need to drive. Apparently, a bypass makes you capable of exceeding the legal limit with <=1 drink.
  2. There’s an iOS app called Lose It! that works for me. Not sure if it exists on Android. Large foods database, and it can scan UPC codes.
  3. While I’m at the beginning of this process, I’m already anticipating the sleeve over the bypass, because I take lots of meds (for things that WLS won’t cure), including some extended release forms. I expect malabsorption from the bypass would play havoc with medication levels. Anybody have any experience with that aspect of the surgery?
