    The messed up part is they arent skinny jeans lol. i Have plenty of space in the waist but my legs barely fit. The biking and crossfit is paying off. Yeah the scale is going up which is kind of difficult to deal with but i know its muscle. i hope...lol

  3. I still have a really bad habit of using WAY too much body wash. The amount i used for my 400 pound body is not the correct amount anymore. Yet i always forget. lolol

    i always try to have a goal to keep me motivated. When i first started for example it was to run a mile. then a 5k and so on until i ran a half marathon. I find if im always chasing a goal, and not just doing it to lose weight, it helps me keep going. Good Luck!!
  8. Dont beat yourself up over it! But look at the difference in reaction then times before. You recognized it and now you get back on track. I know for me i use to have a bad day and thought i completely ruined my diet. Not anymore! i didnt get big over night and i didnt lose it over night. I know if i have an off day i just need to get back on track the next day. Heck ive even had off weekends. But we need those every now and again. You got this!!

    My Transformation

    im sorry im just seeing this!!! i am no longer losing. I am in more of a add muscle/maintain stage. How have you been making out the last two months?!
  13. Hey all! I haven't been as active on the site recently, due to the virus and just focusing more on life. But i'm coming up on 10 months and i did some transformation pictures. I hit my goal in month 7 and since then ive been trying to maintain a balanced diet that helps me put some muscle on. ive been getting in 1500-2000 cals a day, but that means im eating pretty much every hour or two and still drinking my 2 protein shakes a day. But i'm starting to see results so im really happy with that. I still have not had bread, and honestly i dont see why ill ever need it again. I do treat myself here and there. Once a week i will have ice cream, (its my favorite and i dont want to deprive completely) and i allow myself one meal where its kind of a free for all as far as not worrying about protein, but i naturally finding myself not wanting junk anymore. I crave veggies and fruit more then ever. I hope everyone is staying safe and continues to fight the good fight. I hope you all have a great Friday.

    For any newcomer reading this and having any second doubts about what you post, please dont let this affect you. This is an open platform where 98% of the people are positive and will give you the best advice possible. You never know who is struggling with the same problem. Some people will say go look at old posts, but i like new post. You never know year by year what people have learned. It may be something new. Ask away. NO ONE IS PERFECT. Make mistakes. Learn. Most importantly grow. This is your journey. Make the best of it and try your absolute best. I still come on here a year later because i am constantly learning. I love the process and all the help i have gotten on here. Ive met some really awesome people. Literally have gone and met them. Real friendships. So please dont be discouraged by this post. And let it be a lesson to you. DO NOT MESS WITH THE BARI GIRLS 😂. They will put you in your place real quick if you get out of line. LOL!!

  17. Im big into working out, and i started 2 weeks post op. Until i got to maintenance i didnt really mess with my calories. I kept the same intake everyday. Now that im in maintenance its completely different. Just make sure youre getting your protein and drinking a lot of water.

  25. So i had meeting with my nutritionist today. i weighed in at 218. WOOO. But she dropped a bomb on me i wasnt expecting. Time to start thinking about maintenance and upping my calories. While i knew this was approaching it makes me nervous. I do realize for my body type and the way im working out to build muscle, that this is something that has to be done. I told her my energy has been down. So she would now like me to shoot for 1500 cals a day, eventually working to 2000. Is this even gonna be possible or what? im coming up on 7 months out, Ive stuck to this program pretty hard. I guess its just nerves and i have to trust her. Shes gotten me this far. How was your transitions and any advice is welcomed. thanks!! ps. im 28 years old. i do crossfit 5-6 times and week also run 3 times a week. training for a half marathon in September then a full in January.
