  4. I have been meaning to make deviled eggs, thanks!
  5. What I noticed was that I relied far more on my legs and butt to get me up and not my stomach muscles. I wonder if that could be it?
  6. I have had two bariatric surgeries and we will have our 28th anniversary on Feb 29th. I think it just depends on the people. I can see how if you do this together you would have more support, and a walking buddy. Change is hard, but doable!
  7. Yesterday I received a bill for my nutrition visits. Each at 118.00. I called the insurance first and they told me that they had used the wrong coding for it. They had it under treating hyper tension and not for weight loss surgery. I called the hospital billing and they are going to fix it. It is kind of frustrating, as I noticed that a lot of my surgery costs are still pending insurance at 4 months out!
  8. My nutritionist told me to just focus on water and protein and that would keep everything else in line. Sometimes my carbs get over 50 but not often....
  9. I like Bae water. My favorite is the pineapple coconut!
  10. I had a terrible time with gas, it was so painful to walk, but walking was the way out of the pain. I don't really have any advise ( I just suffered through it) but wanted to support you, hope it is better soon!
  11. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I would advise to stay busy, maybe get some walks in when you feel like eating off plan. Hugs
  12. There is a surgery for that!
  13. My thighs are so wrinkly and loose ick! I hope they tighten over time!
  14. When my son was born with Spina Bifida he was put on Colace and Miralax to be taken daily for life as needed. I was told that I could take Colace everyday but have found after 2 months that I don't need it anymore.
  15. Way to go! You are doing fantastic!
  16. Mine has been talkative since my first surgery in 1998. It is much louder now and only after I eat something!
  17. You can really see the loss!

  19. It is because they don't understand. I started out at 225, 5'6" in Sept. I no longer take my prescriptions.
  20. I never thought about it, but yes I did lose my drive after my VBG. I also have some other issues such as I am in menopause for 2 years now ( I am 54) and have never had a hot flash and I don't have hair under my arms. so something hormonal is in the works. Weird how the body works!
  21. I had the same issue with GERD. I think a trip to your regular DR for some kind of medication! Good Luck!
  22. I have added the socks to my shopping list today! Thank-you!
