I think I wore mine for about 3 weeks for my first surgery

should i intervene?
I might tell him that you had the surgery too, and that if he ever wants to talk you are there for him. Also that you belong to this group, he may join you never know. You are a caring person!

Anyone have CT Scans few weeks after surgery to pinpoint issues?
For a CT scan the most they would do is give you a contrast solution through an IV. But not all CT's call for contrast. Sorry you are having such trouble I will keep you in my prayers!

Are You Ready For This
Trying to have it before the end of 2019 d/t we have met our deductible already for this year. ? I am in the same spot as you! I have been so worried that we will have to fund this next year when it could be paid for entirely this year. I think I will get in on time though. My surgery is set for Sept. 16th, but I haven't meet with the surgeon yet. Each time I call they have some excuse as to why she didn't get to talk to him about skipping y psych appt and nutritionist since I had a sleeve 20 years ago. Hopefully she was able to speak to him yesterday. Best of luck on your journey!!

I'm 60. Anyone else over 50 doing RNY?
I had GERD from the git go with the sleeve surgery. But more recently I have developed a fistula (a hole going from my sleeve to the remaining stomach) I guess they didn't remove the remaining stomach back then. I wish my surgery would hurry up because I a nauseous a lot of the time and they don't want me to lose weight prior to surgery.

Date Set! 9/10
My date is 9/16, and I get nervous and question things too. Until I go out in public and see people that are older and over weight and how they struggle to just move and I don't want that at all. Good luck!

Weirdest things you are looking forward to after surgery
I can relate to that. I spent a year and a half looking for a job and I got nothing. Even though I was right for the position I was turned down every time. It is frustrating!
