  4. Yay! Great job, you are doing great!
  5. Thank-you! It's tough because I want to eliminate sugar before surgery but that would be difficult.
  6. I never threw out my skinny clothes either! Cant wait to wear them again! Congratulations on your loss, you are doing fantastic!
  7. I wonder if you can go to their web site and they may have a number you can call?
  8. I agree with the DR on this one. That medication sounds horrible! Cancer sucks and I am so glad they found it! Hugs!
  9. I see them on Sept. 12 and surgery is Sept 16th. I hadn't been weighing myself because I thought I was eating way more that normal. I guess I will try to keep my calories at about 1400 a day, I shouldn't lose at that rate, I hope!
  10. I am so close to the lowest weight so I think that is why. Even though I have a medical issue they are fixing, not just wls.
  11. Wow, that's awful and I am sorry you are going thru it. What option do you have if not the Bypass? You have endured a lot, I hope you are feeling better quickly. Hugs!
  12. I was told the same thing for the same reason. I am about three weeks out and just weighed myself today and am down 8 pounds! My boss suggested sugar free ice-cream.
  13. Today I finally got to talk to my surgeons office. I was told that I will see them on the 12th (2nd visit with them) I will see my surgeon that day and finally get the scoop. I will meet with the nutritionist that day and I assume my blood work that day as well. I start a full liquid Friday the 13th and y surgery is scheduled for the 16th, I just don't have a time yet. I feel so much better after talking to them, I was beginning to feel like they were forgetting about me
  14. I had my EGD on July 9th and still have not heard back from the surgeon, or the office. I do know the results of the EGD and he plans on fixing that, but I not sure if he means a Gastric Bypass or just to repair the fistula he found. How long should I wait to call into the office? Lynda
  15. Glad to hear things went well for you!
  16. Mattz you look amazing!
  17. Good to know! Thanks for the information!
  18. That is a good question. I don't know from personal experience, but I work in a medical clinic and we have patients that come in for monthly injections and swear by them.
  19. I have these symptoms! I had no idea a sleeve would cause it. It only happens occasionally but I imagine I will have to be more careful so it doesn't happen.
  20. Yes, all the time! I am having a revision on Sept, 16th, hope everything goes smoothly for you!
  21. I have had 20 surgeries and it is pretty much exactly the way GreenTealael described. Versed is a wonderful drug that makes you forget.
  22. Before you know it you will be waking up from surgery and ready to start your new life! I will be thinking of you tomorrow!
  23. Thanks for the information!
