Me too! I lost 19 pounds the first week and nothing this week...I know my body is readjusting but it was strange to not lose anything after doing so well.

You’ve got this! I had my gastric bypass on Friday morning and was feeling good enough to be released on Saturday early afternoon. Some pain but it’s manageable and I am able to get my fluid and protein goals met with no problems. 😊

I had mine this past Friday and actually went home the a little after noon the next day. No problems getting my Protein and fluids or getting my exercise in. So far it’s been great. I hope that you have the same success. You’ve got this.

Had my gastric bypass today. I’m feeling great and have been walking to help with the gas pain but otherwise pain has been very manageable. I’m ahead of where my doc wanted me to be so they are considering letting me go home tomorrow instead of Monday like they had planned. 😊😊😊

I have Hot and Sour Soup mix from Knorr and it is great for when I need savory. I’m in the pre-op phase (surgery next Friday) and this as well as the ‘Kitchen Accomplice’ bone broth concentrate has been a life saver! They have several flavors and are sold on Amazon for an average of $9.00 (but are only $7.00 on their website https://www.kitchenaccomplice.com/). Just add 4 teaspoons to a cup of hot water and you’re good to go; plus you can adjust it according to your taste. I am planning to use them post-op w/unflavored protein added to the broth so that I don’t go crazy with all of the sweet protein shakes. 😊
