  1. Thanx Jack. I will work on that:)
  2. Right where the band is. I think I've done good slowing down, not getting the golfball's anymore. But I'm just wondering if I can do even better, hence getting rid of the pressure. Or maybe it's always there when you eat, don't know.
  3. Yodaaaaaaaaa, how dare you infer I meant anything else but nourishment!!!!!!.......................... ...*slap* bad banana!!
  4. Congratulations!!
  5. I'm sorry, this is a very bad joke that probably only Mandi and Yoda will get. However, that thread in the lounge was pretty darn good:)
  6. Okay I just came back from a thread in the Lap-Band Lounge...Now I have the strangest craving for a sub......LOL
  7. Hey Mandi, I don't know if I'll ever get use to the other website. I like the fact that it's all Canadian, and all the same docter, but I'm finding it really confusing. I won't give up, cause I believe you CAN teach an old dog new tricks:dog: , but I wish it was set up like this one.:cry
  8. Are you suppose to feel pressure when your eating? It's the kind of pressure that if it got worse it would start to feel like the golfball feeling. I already know that I need to continue to work on slower, more chewing, etc...and I am getting way better, no more golfballs. But I still feel pressure, does that mean I have to work even harder on chewing?
  9. Why dosent anyone relpy....awwww...thats so sad....:think
  10. Let us know what happens Thursday!!!
  11. I remember feeling like that, but honestly, next thing you know it, it's over.
  12. Good to hear from you sunshine. Are you still sore, or just generally tired?
  13. Anyone heard or seen from Buffie lately?
  14. Naaaaaa I'm nosey too, but you were doing a good job trying to get her attention. I'm really glad to hear(read?) that your doing well!! Don't you guys down there get some awful winter storms, you might not be wanting winter once you start to shovel your way to work..lol.Talk at ya soon:)
  15. good morning loriely!! Glad to hear your doing well. To answer your question, yes. Since my fill on fri, I ate cottage cheese yesterday for breakfast, today plain yogourt, and I can feel the restriction. The mornings are more, but even throughout the day I'm having to be real careful about chewing slowly. The good part is I'm back down to where I was before I gained a few pounds, prior to the fill. Wait till your up and runnin, your gonna be soooo excited. Have a great Day!!
  16. Glad to here your okay!! Sit back put your feet up and take good care of yourself for as long as you can get away with it. Keep in touch, let us all know how its going:)
  17. Way to go Neenaugh!! I think Dr. Mumford gets you in pretty quickly once you say yes, I also heard he's very nice. Let us know how it goes.
  18. Thats because your a good patient, Yoda. That is why you havent PB'd yet. Unlike me, the bad one!!!:heh: ..............:scared:
  19. Good Morning, Good Morning! (I feel like those Viagra commercials) I HAVE RESTRICTION!!!!! Yes, it worked. Went yesterday for my first fill, I wasnt nervous until I saw the needle, Holy Hell!! Anyway Dr. Cobourn has such a great bedside manner that he could have come at me with a jackhammer and I would trust him totally. My port had moved a bit so he had to try a couple of times to get it, but it really didnt hurt. When he did hit the port I could feel him hit it (it was weird). Then he put the saline in I could feel the sensation from the port right up into my throat (that was even weirder). I could drink the water afterward but it felt different. This morning I ate cottage cheese, I really had to eat slow and had to stop way before I would usually stop because I was FULL!!! I Love this Band, I Love Dr. Cobourn and I Love life TODAY!!!!! How's that for a story....Oh ya, I also had a little caffiene this morning too...hence the drama...:drama:
  20. -How bout high heeled shoes....but now the age thing comes in....dam...oh well, I'll wear them anyways!! -Looking my surgeon in the eyes, and admitting that "he was right".
  21. From the bottom of my heart, congratulations, you gave me goosebumps reading your thread.
  22. Yeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Yoda!! You deserve that fill after all you've been through.:clap2:
  23. I'm going now to check out your fill thread, hope its good!!! I'm going to get mine tommorow, wish me luck!! With the amount of food I've been eating lately, I think Im gonna ask him to fill it with cement instead of saline!!!!!!
  24. I seem to be having no trouble. When will sunshine get home, anybody know?
  25. lol...lol....lol....honestly, I can hardly breathe. That IS funny, I needed to laugh. Nine inches does sound good. Where's Mandi, poor girl dosent know what she started.
