I'm confused

A few days ago I could have shoved a 12" sub (mmmm sub:hungry: ) down my throat without chewing, no problem. This week, golfballs. I can't seem to eat without the golfball feeling. I think golfballs are from not chewing right. Is that right? Now I have this fill coming up on Friday, maybe I don't need. My confidence and focus are all over the place lately. I was trying to tell my husband just this morning, I feel like the honeymoon phase is over, and I woke up in a place I am totally not familar with. I'm not sure what I'm doing. I just want to EAT!! Im going to keep my fill appmt, even just to go see them and talk. Obviously I need a fill, right? If I could eat tons a few days ago, then I have little restriction, right? I think now Im maybe just upset and not chewing right, right? But if I get a fill and I already have the golfball thing, how will I be after? I thought I educated myself about this stuff prior, but apparrently I don't know. What's up with me?:phanvan

You are probably not chewing and eating too fast. If you can eat large amounts you definitely need a fill. Nerves can play an important part in all of this too. Relax, chew, and one bite per minute. See if you can get the golfballs to go away. You don't want to be sore and then get a fill.

Hey Cloe.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't believe you've had a fill yet....right? If not, then YES>...go and get the fill....otherwise you will have no restriction.

As for the golfball thing....your body is just trying to get used to things and may be reacting to it ...and this is its way right now. But, that doesn't mean you have restriction. I had that feeling for a couple of days as well and it went away. I can't comment much more than that since I don't have restriction .....but I will say....if you don't have a fill yet....certainly don't "not" get it because of the golfball feeling (which may only be temporary).

Hey Yoda, no, I have not had a fill, my appmt is this friday coming. I've just gone from eating everything, to everything getting golfballed....go figure. I'm just getting frustrated, and I hate being so negative all the time. But I know you know frustration......fricken fills:) lol.

Hey Cloe

I think I have the same problem, but I've had one fill so far. I'd kinda like another one, but I'm scared that the golfballs would be even worse and more frequent with another fill. So 'my plan' is to wait it out as long as I can, and hopefully train myself to stop golfballing! I'm not getting them as often as before, so I suppose that's a good start.

I'm sure it would be different if fills were more accessable to me.... I probably would be on at least my 3rd by now!

P.S. I could totally eat a 12" sub before my first fill. Now it's a 6" for me. (although I'm now feeling like I wish there were a 9")
