Fastest fix but it is disgusting....With such a sensitive stomach/pouch everything can cause gastric upset and cramping...accept Light mineral oil. You do 3 big gulps every hour until you poop mineral oil about 5 hours later. It's like a oil slide for the constipated stool and everything just goes right through without any cramping. I have been doing this for over 35 years I don't send flowers to my friends having surgery I drop off a bottle of mineral oil. Anesthesia, pain management, decreased mobility all cause Constipation. But for you add in ABD surgery/ decreased food and Fluid intake / rapid weight loss. Your poor body is still going through a lot. Yes an enema will work but you have 28 feet in intestines with a small alteration, the enema only does the very end you need to get everything moving along the rest of 24 feet. Again wiping after is disgusting because of the oil but every effective.....sorry for the graphics everyone.

Put a folding chair in your shower or buy a shower chair and sit. Warm Water causes Vasodilation and lowers your Blood Pressure. Sit during your shower you don't want to pass out.

May 24th surgery....highest 216, day of survey 202....simply my rule is the highest number of all 3 has to be Protein or I don't eat it. Keep sugars under 2 keep fat under 5 So then Protein has to be 6 or more..... So at present I am 5 months 1 week out and my height is 149 today. I have to be honest I am poor at the exercise because I am exhausted all the time between kids their activities and working. Good luck and your body will do the work you just have to follow your plan no cheating. Not to say it isn't tough. One day I put the kids Doritos on their plates just so I could lick my fingers. A pathetic moment but sooooo good

New year New you...listen to your own positive words....your the white sheep, your thinner than other family members, you offered for her to come visit even with her life long attitude, you removed yourself States away to get out of the toxic relationship with her...Be proud of the you and all that you have built in spite of your up bringing. It's easy for everyone to say just cut her out of your life, but clearly that's not your feelings or you wouldn't have invited her. So moving forward realize all her faults and continue to do what makes you feel good. Communication if your blocked just send her a card if you feel like you need to reach out. Like on Christmas or Mothers Day. In Psych even the most abused/neglected child still has feelings for the abuser that an outside person can never under stand. Be proud of the person you have become as an adult. Even having this surgery to continue being the best you. Kudos to you that you have chosen to break this alcoholic, neglectful, destructive family pattern. New year New you

This is your new forever...Make a dish and bring it that you can have...Do something with fat free pudding, there are so many recipes. You said it yourself the biggest girl in the office hit that table so many times. It made me sad she had to make a joke over the calories to justify her eating so much. If you can't stand it what I do is pick the one I want and just put a drop on the tip of a spoon. You realize it wasn't as good as you built it up to be in your he a d. You have to think is the next bigger bite worth all I have done today to stay on the plan. 99% of the time I can walk away the other 1% yup I take the bite. Then for the next few hours my stomach sounds like a thunder storm, I only threw up once. Sorry for all the stress eating at functions esp at holidays are tough now add depriving yourself BA hum bug

I just say I decided to get healthy started eating right and working out. What I do at social functions is buy a drink ( ginger ale, wine, or grab a friend's empty beer bottle). This avoids all the do u need another one, can I get u a drink, etc... I just look at the drink and say I'm good. I did go through the are you sick ???? I love the ones that don't ask me and ask my husband if I'm okay. But look at it this way A. You must look great for so many people to make commitments B. Are you lucky so many people care about you to even notice C. After a little while the comments will stop because the new you has been seen by most people........Enjoy the compliments you worked hard for them.

Every program is different but in mine...No pork, lamb, hamburger, fibrous red meat for 6-8months. You can do like beef stew because meat just falls apart. So basically chicken and seafood with limited tender red meat. They said to avoid these because to heavy, fatty, and hard to digest. Scallops are my favorite little balls of Protein and do not bother my stomach. I do them with veg zoodles. Your not doing anything wrong in the beginning it's all trail and error. Picture a newborn infant some formulas agree with them and others don't. It will take sometime to figure out what your newborn stomach can tolerate and what it can't right now. What you did was called frothing or foaming look it up its common with vomiting

I agree with @AZhiker Years out, things look different. Best advice is from your dietician.
Only my two cents, Finding personal weight loss calories and macros:
to start, I set my calories in my food log app to 1200 - 1300. After two weeks, I dialed my calories down by 100. My body started losing weight.
Find a range that works for you (Dial calories up or down by 100)

Just a thought, anytime we go to Cancun at our resort and excursions we only drink bottled Water. When your in the hospital is the water /ice chips filtered or bottled. Be very careful brushing your teeth I would bring a small mouthwash and use that instead of tap water. All kinda research done on flying post op. The recommendations are never ever a window seat always an Aisle. So given a choice do that seating. Reason being window seat you tend to not get up, middle seat you are also compressed on each side and try to make yourself smaller by keeping your arms pulled in. Aisle seat you have one side free and flying postoperative you should get up every half hour and walk the aisle. Some type of compression socks if not nylons to help with circulation to avoid blood clots. Everyone should do this flying get up every half hour for 5 minutes, driving every 2 hours get out of the car and walk around for 10 minutes. Flights 4hours driving 6 hours put you at higher risk of clots. Again good luck

It is not the perfect solution but in the 80s the treatment was 5 table spoons of light mineral oil until you pooped mineral oil. It makes a oil Water slide for the stool so has to keep moving downward. I would never suggest this but not a bad CT resort so just need to move things and wake up those bowel sounds usually takes about 5 hours but no cramping like laxatives. It's hard to do Mirlax because you have to use it with a lot of Fluid. . AZO you can get anyplace for the .Bladder spasms. But everything turns orange. AZO is a smooth muscle relaxation so with a pleural effusion you need to do some deep breathing, first 5 deep breaths on the last one hold it to count of 5. Then let out the breath in short dramatic blows, like your blowsing out birthday candles 1 at a time. This will expand lungs and drag up ) the fluid. Good luck

It sounds like your in the Boston area. You have one of the top Liver specialist in the USA at Lahey Clinic Dr. Roger Jenkins. He has been voted top in his field by Specialists in his field . He has his own wing at Lahey. Above all he is the sweetest physician you will ever met. He has managed me for over 12 years and I'm still healthy. As a FYI Brigham and Women in Boston gave me 3 months to live with metastatic Pancreatic Cancer from IPMN. He was a second opinion I went to and never left. Good luck
