  1. 9 more days

This is my first blog, so please forgive me...

I am about 6 days into my pre-op diet.. The week was good, I drank my shakes, ate grilled chicken with a salad or with broccolli, but then the weekend came. I stuck to the diet, but it was realy hard at times. I took my mom to the horse races and my dad had a pizza and a beer. I don't think I ever wanted a pizza and beer as bad as i did just then... but I was a good girl and stayed away.

I am getting both excited and scared at the same time. I am worried the big day will come and something will happen that I won't be able to do the surgery. I am scared that it will be a failure and I won't lose any weight. So please tell me about any success stories. Please let me know that the dream has worked out for you, and that you are now healthy and happy, and that one day I will be too...
