  3. I just went to my first seminar on Friday and have an appointment with the surgeon tomorrow. What type of questions should I ask? Also I don’t know where to start here at the forums. I have so many questions about the post op diet plans. I’m not worried about the pre diet plans, I’m interested in knowing about the solid diet food plan afterwards. I want to know what I’ll be eating. Wondering how much weight I will lose, I’m 255, was 331 two years ago. I just survived a major surgery last year for a ruptured colon and was septic. I had a colostomy bag for 4 months then had a resection done, so I’m not worried about the actual surgery as I went to hell and back. Eating clear liquids, or soft liquids don’t bother me. I just want to see a typical post surgery diet with natural foods. Right now I’m on a low sodium, diabetic, ckd diet.
