  1. Hi Everyone, I am looking for reassurance! I am 59 years old and had my gastric sleeve 2 years ago about three months after the surgery my body felt like it was going to start a period! Although I had been postmenopausal for several years. Low and behold I did have spotting right after that! Several times in the past couple of years I have done the same thing snd spotted. I had a vaginal ultrasound last week and there was some slight thickening in my endometrial lining tomorrow I am slated for a biopsy I am trying so hard not to worry as I think this is all hormonal related due to my surgery. I have lost 90 lbs, reached my goal and am keeping it off. No regain thus far. Has anyone else that was postmenopausal have an experience like this? I am just looking for somebody to help me calm my nerves Thank you to anyone who responds have a beautiful day!
