  1. I am 2 and a half months post gastric bypass surgery and it seems like my stomach is rumbling and growling and gurgling constantly to the point that I am really becoming self conscious about it. It is sooooo loud and embarrassing! It doesn’t hurt and I am not hungry but it does it anyway. I just wanted to see if anyone else has this issue and if it will be like this forever or maybe tone down a little. On the up side....I feel great!!!!!
  2. I had my gastric bypass surgery on March 21st 2019. Could anyone please give me an idea of the maximum number of carbs I should be taking in daily at this point. I don’t want to be consuming too many.

  5. 3 weeks today was when I had my surgery and I totally feel the same way. It makes me feel a lot better that that seems to be normal for a lot of others also.
  6. I am 3 weeks post op gastric bypass. I wanted to see if anyone else is still experiencing extreme soreness in their stomach after surgery. My whole abdomen is so sore almost as if I have been doing sit-ups and it hurts to turn over in bed at night. I had been doing 30 minutes of walking 1 week post op and it was fine. The only things that I have done differently lately was I recently started a soft diet and I also have started back to work. Also can anyone tell me how long it takes until your stomach actually feels normal again without pain? Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using BariatricPal mobile app

  15. I have iron deficiency anemia. I get iron infusion's and they are split up into 2 separate infusions over a 2 week period. Mine hold my iron levels at a good point for several months at a time. I have no problems or adverse reactions. I go on about my day as if nothing happened. It is comparable to getting a liter of normal saline to me. Nothing to worry about. Good luck! 16. I had my gastric bypass surgery on March 22, 2019. I keep hearing people talk about restriction. I just advanced to very thin/pureed foods yesterday and I assumed that after about 3 Tbsp. It would feel tight or uncomfortable like everyone else does but I don't notice that going on with me. I stop eating anyway because that seems to be the stopping point for everyone else. I am not hungry but I just don't know why I can't feel anything. What the heck is wrong with me???? Sent from my Pixel 2 XL using BariatricPal mobile app
