Love that dress oh my you look amazingI mix Isopure flavors with propel in 20 ounce recycled Water bottles to get in my daily Protein. Love my weight loss results (106 off with 23 pounds to go...) but really don't enjoy eating that much especially, meat or fish. Exploring vegan cookbooks, recipes and other sources of protein for sustenance long term.
Wish we could get our group sharing again.Sophie7713 reacted to this -

Good luck & wishing you a speedy recoveryWell, spent the night at Bariatric Pal hospital. I’m set for surgery at 9am. I’m very excited. The nurse and concierge came in and told me that I am ready to go. So, now I just wait.Lizzziee reacted to this -

Awww thank you so much, best of luck to you as well on your journey:)nerves are so normal I had my sleeve surgery two weeks ago yesterday and I have to say 50lbs down and counting and I feel good about my decision . I went through the same fears as you are going through its normal remember why you started this journey to start with and try to block all the negative thoughts out . think of all the good that will come from your decision to have wls . It is your decision weather you go through it or not but after all you started it for a reason to begin with, I rest assure you that you will be fine you will come out the other side thinking why you were so fearful to start will . I wish you all the luck and support you in whatever decision you choose hang in there

I enjoy food as well if not i wouldn't be here, well atleast you know you have an addiction. Maybe with the tool you can break that addiction!? I'm sure alot of people who had weight loss surgery or plan to actually gain weight (like myself) before surgery. Whatever you chose to do good luck!!!!Hello everyone I'm new here I'm supposed to be having gastric bypass surgery done soon but I don't know if i should. Because I am a food addict and I fear I will regain. Started looking into wls over a year ago n actually gain about 20lbs!!! Why do something if you're are going to fail right? I don't want to have my intestine rerouted to lose weight then gain it back like people on here. I need to loose a 100 pounds. Im over 230lbs scary
I need help.
I know I'm a food addict.ProudGrammy reacted to this -

I think about all the possible outcomes and trying my best to be positive & not to let my fears overcome me LOL. And thank you.It is okay to be scared, it means you are really thinking through your decision, acknowledging what could possibly happen, and making the most well-informed decision you can!
Now that you've thought about the scary what ifs, think about the good ones! What if I lose this weight and feel great? What if I succeed and make myself proud? What if I stick with my Vitamins to ensure my health?
The unknown is terrifying, but sometimes the greatest things happen when he just decide to take the jump! You will do great, you have a whole community here backing you and ready to support you at any time!KarenLR75 reacted to this -
Awww thank you for your kind words and sharing means alot to meSame here. I almost walked out of the pre-op room! It's OK to be afraid. Courage means being afraid and still doing what you know needs to be done. This takes courage. You cannot try to look at the whole picture. God is the only one who knows the future - not us. We have to take one day at a time. The first day post op, the second day post op, the third day post op, etc. Before you know it , it is the first month post op, then 6 months and you can hardly even remember the surgery because you are enjoying your new life so much. Kind of like child birth. Lots of gals want to back out at the last minute! But you go through the scary process and have a beautiful new life on the other side. You are going to have a beautiful new life on the other side, too, but going through the surgery is the first step.KarenLR75 and Bastian reacted to this
