I am filled with so much emotions right now. Wishing everyone having surgery today and the finals of the April group.
Thank you all so much for all of the valuable advice and information you all post, they have helped me so much.

I was submitted on a Monday and approved on Wednesday. My surgery date is 5-22-19. Good luck!!!

My advocate just called and said the words we all wait to hear on this journey “APPROVED.” Thank you all for the support and the comments. My case was submitted on Monday 04/22/19 and I was approved yesterday 04/25/19. Praise God!!!!!!!

My surgeon's office called and my surgery time is at 10:00am Monday morning. My heart skipped a beat when I saw the number on my caller ID.

You can call and ask for the pre-authorization department. I called twice and found out a week before my doctors office e-mailed me.

I called my insurance. It was submitted and approved the same day. Personally I would call.

Just trying to gather opinions from others who have already been through this step and may have been in a similar place. I thought we were all here to support one another through this journey. Thanks for the input! 👍🏼

Tomorrow will make a week that I had my last weigh in at the surgeons office. Today I sent an email and left a voicemail for my insurance advocate inquiring about my file being forwarded to the insurance. I even sent her information from my last dr visit, which was the day before my last weigh in, just Incase she needed something extra.

NO answer, do these people not realize how inpatient “we” are once you have completed everything that was asked of us.

I’m hoping she gets back to me before the end of the week, because I can’t go another weekend waiting just to be submitted for approval. #prayingforpatience

My liquid diet is going quite well. I had headaches for the first 3 days but I am alright now. I am now down to 149lbs and before I started the liquid diet I weighed myself and I was 160lbs. I was eating a few of my favorite food before starting the liquid diet lol. I had the option to have 2 Snacks on the liquid but I choose not to. Here is what I've been eating and drinking.
2 premier shakes(break fast & lunch)
1 crystal light
Water
2-3 cups of herbal tea.
Baked chicken
turkey or veggie burger
steam squash
steam cabbage
green salad.
Salad Dressing I use braggs apple cider vinegar.

Also I've been getting in 10, 000 steps on most days and I go to the gym 1-2 days a week.

Good morning, so my advocate emailed this morning saying that I was submitted to insurance last week. Yay !!!!!! Now the WAIT really begans

Today I had my Psyc evaluation. 45 min talk with Dr then a 370 questionare no bad. Dr say he will remand my surgery. I will have my stress test on Wed

I had my last goat curry tonight as I end my love affair with all of my unhealthy eating habbit.

I am so happy!! I just called Aetna and they told me that they approved my surgery last Friday. This morning I got clearance from anesthesiologist and Wednesday I start my 12 day pre op diet. Two shakes and 4-6 oz lean Protein and a small salad or vegetables (optional 2 small snacks). I guess I will be enjoying a few favorite meals today and tomorrow.
April 29th here I come!!
