Day 11 of my 2 week liquid diet and I’m struggling today. I don’t know if I can do this, what am I doing?????
My husband tell me every morning before I go to work how he’s so proud of me and I appreciate that. My 10 year old daughter wants to make sure everything I put in my mouth “mama can you have that” lol .
I just don’t know how to feel right now, I’m excited, nervous, scared, sad, I’m just all over this place.

My surgery is in 3 days and yes I did cheat on my diet Mother’s Day. I have lost 13 lbs so far but my diet does allow me to have lean meats and non starchy vegetables. So it’s not like I can’t eat , just not what I want. I don’t even know want to eat it’s just knowing I can’t have it that is bothering me.

Anyway I know this post is all over the place , but I just wanted to share my feelings.

Yes, I agree to get something, it's only temporary. I took painkillers for 10 days and started titrating down on day 7.

I'm so sorry you're having pain. I was one of the lucky ones that didn't have any pain at all. Be sure you get your fluids in, you don't want to dehydrate and have to be hospitalized. Take care.

Call your doctor and get a more effective painkiller. I didn't feel any pain for the 3 days post up bc I took oxycodone as directed. Don't suffer if you don't have to.

I had surgery on Wednesday and as soon as I was able to stand up I took off walking. You have to walk to move the gas pain around. I’m still very sore and needed help to stand, but I knew I had to push through the pain. Make sure you ask for pain meds to make you comfortable and try to walk as soon as you can. I hope you feel better soon, take care.

Hello just checking in to say I feel great. The nurses say I’m there poster child because I’m doing so well. No problems drinking thank the lord for that. I’m having just mild gas but nothing unbearable. I’m also walking every chance I get and I feel great. Thank you for the support !!!!!

I cant believe how fast this whole process has happened for me. It seems like just yesterday I attended my WLS seminar. My seminar was actually 01-22-19 and here I am preparing for surgery 05-22-19 in the morning. Thank to everyone who’s responded to my post with encouragement and advice.
