April 2019 Surgeries!
Renjen... you have and are doing great! follow your docs suggestions and I know your stall will come to an end. Keep up the great work. Well happy to say that my stall ended and I am again loosing about 1 to 2 pounds a week! I did nothing special to start loosing again although I did track food and found I was eating around 1200 calories a day. I guess that is a good amount for me.

Touchy subject.... stinky poo and gas :(
Something my surgeon or any of the docs NEVER warned me to expect was terrible smelling gas and poo It is really really bad. I am wondering if I am the only one, or if anyone has noticed this after the surgery. I am 5 months out and noticed this on day 2 I need to know if anyone here has had this problem and if you were able to STOP the stink. I am not really eating gas inducing foods. I just get gas bad sometimes. I will say that I don't get constipated, just the opposite. I usually go first thing in the morning no problem (except the stink). I am not a potty mouth, just need help!

February 2019 weight loss buds
Yesterday I went to Dress Barn to purchase some smaller pants. It was the first time ever I went to the regular size side of the store YEAH. I must admit I did feel a little lost, had no idea what size I am. The saleslady had me spin around and told me I was a REGULAR size 16!!. When I went to purchase the pants she told me I saved $10 on each pair because regular size is cheaper! YEAH

April 2019 Surgeries!
Hi all April..ers I am feeling great, still have lots more to loose, but my joints are VERY happy these days. I have been in a stall for a few weeks now. I have been letting my pouch dictate my food. I guess I need to be much more mindful about what goes in mouth. I have seen that lots of people state that they eat about 500 to 600 calories a day. I am going to start to log my food. I do believe that I am over the 600 mark. I am guessing that is why I am stalling. Glad that you all are doing well. and I would be curious how many calories you all eat, or do you even pay attention to calories?

Swallowing Rocks
I have found HINT water, it has just a tad of flavor. I cannot tolerate any type of crystal type flavors. All to sweet even if I dilute. HINT water goes down smooth for me.

Great Job! you are doing well. I am also loosing well. I have lost almost 40 pounds now yeah! Sometimes when I want to eat I get mad at my belly, but when I step on the scale I love it. I have a love hate relationship with my belly LOL . I NEVER would have lost this much weight without the surgery.

April 2019 Surgeries!
No but I did crave salty things for quite a while after my bypass. Now I am having trouble getting in all the fluids that I should. I have taken to watermelon and popcycles to fill the water gap. How are you on fluids?

April 2019 Surgeries!
oh yes on the liquid BM. Also when I fart, not sure if it is just a fart because I have SHARTED several times. Yes and the smell is enough to even nock my dog over. I have some gas too. mostly just getting tired of making sure I get enough liquid in before my belly hurts.

April 2019 Surgeries!
Yes I am getting super board! I just cant get comfortable. I feel like I cant sit still. I have no desire for food and quite frankly feeling done constantly thinking about how much fluid I am drinking. I do feel a little bit better every day. I tried chicken boulion and V8 juice I like the salt those are both considered clear liquid.

February 2019 weight loss buds
Hi! Newbie here.... my BIG concern is my NEED for food. I often do also have the farewell to food thought that worries me when surgery comes. The dietitian preaches don't think of this as your last supper LOL. but I love food. NOW MY QUESTION TO YOU..... how are you fending after surgery.... do you have cravings? do you cheat? I would love to know how you are doing.....

How’d you Choose? Sleeve v.s. Bypass?
Thanks for that info.... I wanted sleeve and doc advised strongly, for me bypass since I had previous lap band problems and had to have removed. I must trust my surgeon I know, yet I am still scared of bypass, but your comments help me stay the course.
