    as long as I get enough protein mine is good. My hair is really thick and curly so that helps. I hardly ever she dos I will notice immediately is it starts! *taking notes*

    I am doing 30 mins cardio and 30 mins strength training on alt days. 7 days a week right now. all low impact. some yoga few days when I can fit it in. want to get back to running. waiting on time to change back so it is not dark when I get up.

    I go according to weight as well for protein. then I add veggies, etc. as long as I eat my protein first I eat until I'm full of whatever else.

    emotions are high but that is normal. If you are like me this was a long journey. as to the BM issue please talk to your doc! I am taking Miralax every other day to keep things moving as I am not able to drink as much water as I used to.
  10. Doc released me for cardio at 4 weeks, the told me I could resume strength training at 6 weeks. weights, biking, etc. everybody is different thought. listen to your body!

    Feel thirsty but also full

    remember all liquid counts. I too felt bad about not getting in my water BUT my doc pointed out that two protein shakes a day added 20 oz to my intake I was not considering. slow and steady is the way. I too was a glug glug glug kinda girl all day. I work in customer service and spend a lot of time on the phone. talking is thirsty work!

    December 2018 Sleevers!

    I only weigh in once a week, keeps me from obsessing! you can gain/lose up to 5-6 lbs of water daily so I don't sweat it. I am 8 weeks out and down 40 lbs. one third of the way to my goal. I am right there with you on that 'one bite too many' I can tell right away when it is too much. I have only really overaten once and it was stress/emotions related. gotta learn to conquer that!

    WOO HOO! I have United healthcare and they required 5 yrs of history plus a 6 month supervised diet to 'prove' I can follow a program I guess?
  17. Glad to hear he is on board. I have a friend whose doc also does not provide pain meds. CRAZY. I had the ON-Q pain pump and it was AMAZING! GO YOU! I'm so glad you did this!

    Having the Sleeve with bad knees

    WOW lots of bad knees here lol I am bone on bone as well, lots of basketball, etc. I'm not sure I will do knee replacement any time soon but I'm sure I will need to do it at some point.
  20. lol so many forums, so little time. my doc recommends between 800-1000 and always have more protein than carbs in whatever I eat.
  21. I am between 800 and 1000 calories right now. some days more than others. but is still struggle with protein.

    30 second elevator interview

    I am 52, mother of four, grandmother of four, have 4 furbabies.....hmm seeing a pattern. lol My youngest has special needs so a lot of my energy goes to him. He is part of the reason I did this. My partner is a great source of support and I am hoping she may take the same steps soon, for her health.

    Starting back to work next week

    I meal prep a lot. so ill do baked chicken breast, or if I'm lazy get a big rotisserie chicken from sam's or make turkey meatloaf for protein. we always have sliced turkey and ham in the fridge, then I grab various veggies and stuff, yogurt, sugar free jello or pudding, beef jerky for snacks.

    Egg & Cheese Bites recipes- Delicious protein!

    wrap a slice of turkey bacon around the cup before you add the eggs for a crispy crust or chop the back and put it I the bottom before you put in the eggs. MINE also puff then subside as they cool. perfectly normal.

    I make what is called 'lazy lasagna' using spinach in place of noodles. so good!
