Instead of bread with tuna salad (use to love thickly sliced sandwiches made with various breads - sour dough, rye, Italian, Cuban etc.) I now substitute with tomatoes... I ate under ½ of portion here and will enjoy the rest of it for dinner. Consuming about 1 ½ cups of food at each meal after 2 ½ years post surgery.

The tend to jump on out breaks of COVID in Australia even small numbers @Sophie7713. Better we shut down for a couple of days to try to limit the spread than see it cut a swarth through the population. People have become more complacent which is concerning. We had cases of the Delta strain & unknowingly contagious people were at multiple shopping centres, gyms, cafes, grocery stores, petrol stations, … the list grows every day. I had held off on being vaccinated because of conflicting stories & side effects but intend to get it early next month - still not fully recovered from my surgery (low energy) & I want to be on my A game when I have the first injection.

Absolutely, very wise to recover fully first. After our bodies have been through so much like BS and plastics over the last few years - I have not felt comfortable introducing a pre-qualified vaccine - experimental therapy just yet. I have never done well with flu shots understanding this is much more serious. I continue to research the latest information and glad you are doing the same. Hubby has had his shots. So kind and supportive of him to still wear his mask when we go out together... I know this is not an OOTD but a well dressed master bedroom - so cheerful and happy!

Yes, I thought Eric Bana very handsome and a good actor - we thought the movie was a bit weak... kind of drawn out - slow moving, plot convoluted. But we did enjoy The Dig on Netflix. I'm just waiting to see the latest Bond movie as we all could use a little frivolousness and escapist adventure right now! They continue to hold the release until a movie theatre premiere!

Glad your region is still taking this virus seriously... We have a friend and her husband deathly sick with Covid caught from their 18 year old son and his girlfriend. The symptoms she (52) has described are violent as she battles at home while her husband (62) is hospitalized with plasma therapy. Families were warned here to remain vigilant especially if not vaccinated around younger adults. I still wear my mask in public settings like grocery store and remain distant from any large gatherings. Don't mind traveling or flying interacting mainly one on one socially. Please take good care and keep well but how discouraging to feel like going backwards in lockdown once again. Some states here like South Carolina were free as a bird as if there had never been a pandemic. I am somewhere in-between sensing 2021 - 22 to be transition years. Hopefully, by 2023 we will see celebration especially come May. ;]

Actually, it is a dress. Love it for our steamy summers - very breathable. This was my outfit yesterday at lunch with a friend. All cotton materials, too - my favorite Fiber. Traveled on business most of June, and back to the task of selling our home with the anticipation of moving forward into a new chapter of life + adventure. Showings all day tomorrow. We relaxed today and watched an afternoon movie called The Dry. Thought about you. ;]

I DO TWIRL! And, you are right... a woman of any status, race or creed are to be celebrated. I am married, but do not have children. You can also be diminished if you aren't like most couples with children. That's okay, though - Bobby, Mr. and Mrs. Sophie make a happy fun family! As does MISS. My contribution today is the after varicose vein ablation and removal edition. 🙄🙄 I will be sporting this knee high wrap for the next 2 weeks. I threw in a before pic as well to show how bad my veins were, complete with phlebitis. So glad this is done, as I have been in pain for about 10 years from this. I am in pain from the procedure now, but hopeful I will soon not have pain in this leg anymore. 😬😬😬

Before COVID I had bought three T shirts in this styling and adored them - but never had the opportunity to wear them. Maybe I'll pull them out for Mother's day lunch with Mom at her assisted living today. They just opened her facility to visitors May 1st. Yay! Bayou, maybe shop for a summer dress in this pastel blue color, too! You've also inspired me to pull out my new white jeans that I have never worn yet either. Remember how many of us had just replenished our new wardrobes 14 months ago? Then, March 2020 lock down! All dressed up and no where to go. Literally. Maybe now all those little outfits can "come out of the closet". Haha.

lunch with my girls. We’re trying to go out to somewhere nice for lunch or dinner every 4 weeks. Look I’m not wearing all black 😆😆😆. Popped on my new leather coat as it was a bit overcast & cool today - Autumn & lunch was on a rooftop. I love my jacket. So glad I returned the other one.

Had the dress in my wardrobe since just prior to COVID last year. This is it’s first outing. Amusingly, Alyson Hannibal wore the dress to a presser in February for her movie Flora & Ulysses except it was like three sizes too big on her. Think I won the ‘who wore it best’ comp. 😜
