I didn't know that. Haha. Do your girls like Target? Found the coolest outdoor coat there today. And, I did note some Champion brand items in their sports/athletic department. Worth checking out. Maybe Santa owns some stock in Champion and will disperse the products this season for his shareholders! ;]

  2. Oh Silly Kitty, I do apologize for posting tonight my new adventure in plastics and questions asked on your thread. I just now read the title of the thread, and back read several posts. It was not my intention to impose here or post inappropriately. So sorry. Perhaps, there is a general plastic surgery thread? I'll look for one.

    Small update:

I'm within my 30 day to surgery window. I started all of the pre op testing required by both my surgeon and my pcp. Waiting for the blood work results for my pcp to sign off on my surgical release. Then later this week I have a mammogram. Assuming all turns out as expected, that should be it until surgery day!

As a side note ... I don't really have a PCP. I have one I chose for my insurance, but I have never seen her. I just don't have any health issues, and never have had a need to go. My chosen PCP was off the day of my appt, so I saw another physician in the office. He was pretty damn condescending about plastic surgery. He lectured me about having my health was the most important thing, and my skin "isn't very bad at all" Uhhh, thanks, but I'm the one having to live with it. He also disapproved of my using an out of state surgeon. So guess who's going to be selecting a new PCP? 🤣

Most definitely. He took liberties, I feel, from a point of arrogance and ignorance! The extra skin on our newer figures is not simply a vanity issue as he implied (what a twit) - Especially for us petite body types... I've noted this extra skin weighs me down, effects my balance and posture. Tight foundations are not healthy for our organs. Corsets be damned for the previous women of yesteryear. Can you even image being tied up in one for the sake of fashion! I also find a size smaller pant (not the stretchy kind) is more appropriate - if not for all the tummy flesh and muffin top dilemma. I hope he did not steal your joy and anticipation. Will just call him Dr. Clueless.

  4. This month, I have begun serious research, assessing costs, time lines and interviewing plastic surgeons. I am so grateful for this thread. No one can truly understand this journey or its unique stages. I am looking into a breast lift and Tummy Tuck to address the abdominal loose skin. I can live with the bat wing arms. I have met with two surgeons thus far. One wants to do a belt, the other much less invasive. Tomorrow, I visit a female surgeon. I really liked the surgeon I met today, but he is booked thru August 2020 unless a cancellation - which is doubtful given his excellent reputation. I had hoped to have surgery this winter to allow for plenty healing time before our 25th anniversary gala May 17, 2020. While I know everyone heals differently - do you think procedures done in January or February give enough time? I am still loosing currently, and am aware of the 3-6-9 or 12 year wait thru maintenance for plastics. Do you feel that is a definite hard and fast rule? Am I rushing this too much? How did you know your personal target weight? I think I might be an inches girl more than weight? I have adopted healthy eating and 100 oz. Water per day down. I adhere strictly to the wisdom + suggestions from The Obesity Code, Big Ass Salads and A Pound of Cure. I found each author and book refreshing, vindicating and honest... After years of struggle, frustration and mixed messages managing a serious weight problem. Your thoughts and experience would be so much appreciated. Thank you.

Going in for my implant fitting this week. I'm experiencing boob greed already. I want to find that perfect balance of big & full, but short of porn star.

I've also wanted to tally costs for those thinking about traveling out of state. Although I'm saving a SIGNIFICANT amount of money on the surgery, other costs do add up

RT Flight for fitting (economy): $450

    Car Rental for fitting: $83

    Hotel for fitting: $127

Outbound flight for surgery (economy) me: $234

Outbound flight for surgery (economy) mom: $200

Return flight for surgery (first) me: $658

Return flight for surgery (economy) mom: $270

Hotel room me (15 nights): $2,100

Hotel room mom (15 nights): $2,100

    Costs yet to be tallied:

    Lyft costs to/from airport

Lyft costs out of state (car rental over the 15 days would be about $800)

Items that will be shipped to and then left behind, (toilet riser, shower chair etc)

    Meals

I am using hotel points for the hotel. It is a huge cost savings ($4K), but it is also 300K points. Points aren't free, so using 300K points on this means I won't have them for future vacations. Also using some various flight credits my mom and I both have across a few different airlines (not miles, those are better bang for your buck with international business class). So saved some money there, but again not free, because I won't have them for personal travel in the future.

If this was all out of pocket (vs points), it would be over $6K additional costs for going out of state. Even as it is, it is over $2K, & using a huge chunk of hotel points. Of course savings could be had, specifically sharing a hotel room vs. two separate rooms. Also, could stay for only one week, vs. the full two my surgeon recommends.

Just food for thought for anyone considering plastics out of state.

This is all so exciting Silly Kitty! Who cares about a sable fur or the diamond ring when Santa baby can deliver all your wishes (body parts, haha) come true. Short of porn star, love it!

I changed the belt and added a necklace and bracelets. I wish I had a lower neckline tshirt or a turtleneck. I think it's better? I don't, need to spend quality time with Amazon. :D But I think adding the accessories helped detract from the stark difference in the neckline. Right?

Love it - the jacket and the entire look you pulled together!

  7. Our cooler temperatures have finally arrived! No need for the heat or air conditioning. Perfecto. But, I was caught off guard with no winter weather clothes to wear. Oh boy. All the 1, 2 and 3X's discarded months ago. Loving these long sleeves, cotton/spandex bottoms (like wearing pajama's) with comfy crops - I found over this past weekend. And, I just couldn't resist these fun shoes for a little red holiday dress on order plus, the Christmas bell collar for Bobby, our wire fox terrier.

Here is yesterday’s outfit. I’ll take a pic and post today’s at some point. Work has had me HOPPING, so I’ve not been in here much. Also, my weight loss has stalled and I’ve been busy pouting about it. It’s annoying!

I LOVE this belt. Love it.

How would these boots and belt look with your new black pants suit? With such a pretty waist line and figure eight, it may give you another look. Pant suits are so versatile. I thought it was really flattering on you!

I so want Rothy's to work for me. I tried them when I was heavy and they rubbed the back of my heel. I lost 1/2 shoe size, so I tried them again last month, and same heel rubbing :(

I just got some All Birds, they are super comfortable, no rubbing or pinching. But the 7.5 is a bit too short, my toe just about hits the top of the shoe. But the 8 are loose, and feel like I'm going to walk out of them. I'm not sure what to do!

I desperately need comfortable and professional flats :(

Steve Madden carries some comfortable and true to size flats in his fall collection you may want to peruse. When I saw this pair, I thought of the cream sweater cousin in gold mentioned earlier. :]

  10. Oh, I forgot to add - Yes, these are Rothy's. Love them! Have four pairs now. I dropped one full shoe size, and all my incredible collected classic shoes $$$$ over the years - no longer fit and went to thrift shop + consignment Heaven. I find Rothy's so comfortable, stylish and affordable $ given that I will need to replace every shoe in the wardrobe. I also like All birds for really casual comfy. Both brands constructed from re-purposed materials, too! ;]

Hip, modern and sensational! And, the beaux might seriously want to consider keeping this Kitten under lock and key. I'm surprised you even made it to the restrooms... that some incredibly handsome, international pilot and co-pilot didn't whisk you away to Europe hailing Come Fly with Me! Meow! Seriously, though, you look absolutely beautiful in your stylish winter white. And, the boots are simply to die for.

I admire and hand out 💙's, but I am sure I have missed a few by accident. I can't keep up! LOL!

I hope to be posting my first OOTD here soon. I am Just a couple pounds from a mini goal I set for myself and will do so to Celebrate with all the awesome inspiration I have found here. Thanks for sharing, everyone. Always love the OOTD thread!

We can't wait to see your first mini-goal finale post! Wahoo, a celebration, indeed!

Ooh la la, this is truly a fab outfit on you! I think it really flatters your wonderful curves and very pretty petite lines. Also, adds height like Ms. SSS said. I'm not agreeing with the beaux on this one. AND, those boots... think your East coast twin can borrow them? ;]

I still just have one burning question for you and @sillykitty...

How do you pee in public while wearing this outfit? :D

A good question! Not sure I have totally figured that one out yet. Asked hubby if he'd wait outside the powder room to help me with the very long back zipper and/or assist with any other unforeseen mechanical problems. True to He Man form, it appeared more interesting from his vantage point to go back into powder room together vs. returning to the cocktail party! Haha. ;]

Well it is more than I thought...not pictured are my (ugly) clunky motorcycle boots, hiking boots and Sorel snow boots. In my defense, 3 pairs are pretty much only worn when we are riding the motorcycle. I needed to get them all out of their boxes since winter has finally showed up here.

Image may contain: shoes and boots

Love them all! These boots are made for walking, and that's just what they'll do... One of these days these boots are going to walk into each our closets! Edited Nancy Sinatra lyrics a bit. ;]

So I had to change my pants before I left today. I would have gone gravy pulling up my pants today. I think these pants and boots look much better.

This is better - a really dramatic, flattering and wonderful look for you. It so complements your hair, too. Hooray!!!! to stepping out of your comfort zone into a little black cocktail dress for work gala. A true classic.

    That was me!

It looks fantastic on you! Even if we did show up at the same dinner party, we'd just look like fashinoista twin :)

Good to know on the tailoring, I was just planning to safety pin the v neck closed!

Thank you for the inspiration, Silly Kitty! It is truly one of my favorite outfits that make me feel 10 feet tall! ;]

Absolutely, the fashionista twins! Have you been wearing your pants suit lately? Really versatile. Here's a close up of the seamstress magic. She took the fabric belt and added a more structured, better laying collar. Then, to my surprise - matched up the crane necks which I thought gave it a neat finished look. If you do wear it again... take another picture.

  19. Do I hear fashion police sirens! Busted. I am definitely a copy cat. Another petite posted this wonderful jump suit a few months ago, and I just loved it on her! And, hailed her very good taste. It is the perfect garment for me. The elongated silhouette for this shorty; sleeves that conceal my bat wings; incredibly comfy flowing fabric AND a tropical twist (we have cranes strolling about everywhere)! Seriously, though, I hope no offense. I believe we live on opposite coasts, and doubt we will show up at the same dinner party. Tonight, I wore it to a cocktail party... I had my seamstress re-work the V top that was too low, hem, a nip and tuck here and there. Found the belt on sale at Macy's.

Today I went cheetah. I am thinking that this skirt may not be as flattering for my new figure as it was my old one. I may keep an eye out for a new basic black skirt. The sweater is probably supposed to be cropped on someone of normal height, but it hits perfectly on me. I do have a white tank top underneath, so that I don’t accidentally flash anyone.

Gosh so sorry to be MIA! I continue to be so inspired by each one of you and this thread always brings a smile to my face, no matter how difficult the day may be!!! You all look GORGEOUS!!!! And love the fashion inspiration!

Took some pics for a meeting last week. Here's the latest. 20.5mo PO RNY. 130.2lbs Maintenance.

    IMG_5084.thumb.JPG.831c6d4aae0eec1a8160478de43d191a.JPG IMG_5085.thumb.JPG.1ceb5c105f22ac61dc57500d90873fce.JPG

My body may have decided to defend a lower set point rather than the 135lbs that I thought it was happy at. I have lost and gained the same 2-5lbs from 130-135lbs for a while now. Just last week I briefly saw 129lbs. Now after a big weekend of fun and frivolity, I came back at only 130.2lbs--which means I may be 2lbs lighter by Friday.

I'm not hatin' on that--honestly. I have wanted to reach my super triple top secret BDG Goal since I started this process. But when it didn't look like I would ever hit my 130lbs goal, I kinda released that into the ether and called maintenance at 135lbs revised goal.

Then I hit 130lbs and revised the revised goal back to 130lbs. But now it looks as if I might actually make 125lbs (super triple top secret Barbie Dream Girl Goal). I'm pretty thrilled at this weight and I love how I look in clothes these days (or at least I'm moving in that direction). My gigantor turkey thighs are slightly less pronounced now. And I asked Mr. F. if he thought I looked too thin or sickly. He said that I didn't. He's very honest and objective, so I know I can go to him as a touchstone with reality.

I bought 3 pairs of size 8 skinny jeans from goodwill this weekend. And I'm actually in between a 6 and an 8--oddly so. The legs fit, but the the little bit of belleh skin doesn't let me fasten them. Wah. Oh well.

I saw my plastics dude last Friday. A bit of a buzz kill. He told me my insurance wouldn't cover the saggy droopy booty, even though it was giving me significant issues. He did say that I have very very little excess fat on my body - as he was looking at me totes nekkidy and that he didn't want me to lose any more. Of course I lied and said, "Swearsies! I'm not plannin' on it!" (wink wink nudge nudge saynomore...)

He still says that I need to wait on my capular contractures in the reconstructed foobs. But he wants me to consider getting nerp tats so I look more like a real gingerbread girl--and less like a Skipper Doll (Barbie's younger annoying kid sister--anotomically incorrect and lacking a kung fu grip). Still chewing on that one. Don't know what to do with that information yet.

    Sorry for the book!!! :(

How exciting to go from Skipper to Barbie... But I think you look pretty FABULOUS right now!!!
