I am looking at surgeons as well....I live in Florida but want a surgeon who specializes I body lifts for weight loss surgery patients. For that reason, I am zeroed in on Dr Cardenas and Dr Sauceda.< br />
On Saturday, I had a Zoom consult with Dr Cardenas. She is extremely impressive. I feel like she focuses on safety and feminine outcomes. Big emphasis on pre and post op nutrition. All of which are important to me.

Dr Sauceda is a bit more direct. Send your photos, get a recommendation and cost. He does good work.

Both doctors recommended the same procedures for me - makes it easy to compare cost. The costs were significantly different, but I am leaning toward Dr Cardenas because her results are just beautiful.

Will be sure to post results if I go forward with surgery in December.

Hope to see your results as well!

How exciting Hoosier Girl! December will be here in no time. I'm a Penn State girl. What part of Florida?

    Adding to the end-of-the white-clothes-embago (à la @JAKE H)...

This is what I wore to lounge by BFF’s pool this afternoon, so I think the semi-nakedness was appropriate. Though truth be told, I sorta like being semi-naked...😂😂😂😂

Not sure if you can tell, but those are pants I’m wearing...don’t think I’ve worn white pants since high school...

You look so so pretty and absolutely transformed here! The gauzy pants with wedge sandals add so much height and dimension to your gorgeous figure. Summer 2020 touts a new bathing beauty. ;]

  3. My surgeon is Dr. Dana Goldberg in Jupiter, Florida. I believe her to be outstanding, articulate and professional. Her skills in removing ample skin with fluer de lis Tummy Tuck and breast lift were commendable especially, given my petite frame. The results have been phenomenal! She will be doing my brachioplasty this September. I recommend her wholeheartedly. I actually preferred working with a generalist and not necessarily a bariatric patient plastic surgeon. She possessed nuances I liked in moving away from that fat persona toward a slim and fit woman. Her on site surgery center and staff were excellent. I had no qualms, and now given the COVID environment + risk - She can enlist tighter control and protocol than in a hospital setting. I felt safer and more comfortable at home recovering the day of surgery. However, highly ranked Jupiter Medical Center is close by should an emergency arise. She performs wonderful work on men and woman with varied needs. Dr. Goldberg is a nice balance of experience yet with a younger cutting edge (no pun intended) expertise. I interviewed five regional surgeons. I cannot speak to their fee structures here in contrast to other states or regions. Do keep us posted and many best wishes on your research and final decision! No doubt, you will be so pleased to shed the weighty extra skin. I'm so excited for you!

  4. Another date with my lonesome closet today. Purchased this dress past winter to wear + replace much needed donated dresses OR so I thought. It hangs in plastic until a better day. ;[

Chicken Crust Pizza. I cut this in about 16 pieces, made little pizza bites. The kids like them, I had two pieces.

Crust is made of shredded chicken breast, low fat mozzarella and one egg. (I used egg beater about 1/4 of a cup).

    chicken crust <a href=pizza .jpg" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" data-fileid="103096" src="https://s.bariatricpal.com/uploads/monthly_2020_07/348116153_chickencrustpizza.thumb.jpg.b0e10ad8c4e839c0ad5cbfaacca704d0.jpg" />

WOW that look's delish. I really miss pizza. Did this satisfy?

  6. Sunday brunch out. Needed a break from cooking this week. Tried new excellent restaurant in town porch side. We ordered a sampling feast for plenty of leftovers. Shrimp + slivered cauliflower, date, kale, roasted almond salad with lemon vinaigrette. Classic Cuban sandwich with pineapple aioli. chicken and red velvet waffles with spicy maple Syrup + lemon yogurt. The best meal out in a very long time. I ate two shrimp and ¼ of the salad. Enjoyed the salad, shrimp and some chicken again for Monday's dinner. Hub's been eating the rest. ;]

So this weekend, I went out to a very small, social distanced, outdoor birthday gathering. I did my make up for the first time in 4 months 😲

Still rocking my padded booty panties. (but hopefully not for much longer 😊)

By contrast, this is my look pretty much any other random day

Love this outfit on you! Are you going in for a buttocks lift soon? Are you enjoying summer so much more this year without the extra skin weighing down? I am. What a resounding difference the removal has made. Right? ;]

I've been MIA, and way too much fabulousness on this thread to comment on everyone. But @Sophie7713, WOW!!! This is stunning! It is so flattering and so, YOU! 😍

Thanks, ms.sillykitty! Just scheduled my brachioplasty today for September 24th... So I don't have to limit myself to ¾ or long sleeves or have them lengthened as with this hot pink pouf sleeve. Here is the original sleeve design and intent. I asked surgeon to go below elbow (scars will skin tone in time) so not to have that bulge where inner arm seam stops. I'm excited. I believe the last plastics journey, hopefully.

Hi ms.N11 - we missed you! How ya been girl!? Are you still reporting to work and/or dressing up in those FAB outfits?! I had to cover all my garments in the closet with plastic due to the dust accumulating. ;[ As you can see on thread - Jake has become quite the HUNK and jumping out of airplanes now. You may need to have a talk with him about high risk activities! Ha Ha. ;]. You have slimmed down wonderfully since your last posts. Love this outfit! The earrings, priceless! You are rocking it. Stay with us -even if only casual stuff. I miss your spunky spirit. Hugs. Keep well in Jersey. Precarious here in Florida... Oh boy.

I went in for a consult with a plastic surgeon last week and we booked in an extended brachioplasty surgery for September. Yesterday I got a call saying there's a free spot next week on Thursday... so I was like, ok, cool, let's get it over with. I don't want to panic about it for months - this is a good opportunity. So now it's happening next week. I'm a bit worried that I'm unprepared. I'm hoping to have it as a day surgery so I can come home, if not, there's a room booked for me - I'll take an overnight bag just in case. I've taken leave from work. My mother and sister are around to look after me. If the drains gross me out, I can call a community nurse to do them (it's about $100 per day). There's a ton of food in the freezer I can eat. I was thinking of downloading audible so I could listen to some audio books (assuming it's too painful to hold my kindle). There's a ton of shows/movies I want to watch on Netflix etc. I've got some old bedding ready in case things are gross from the incisions, so I don't stain my nice sheets. I'm a non-smoker. I exercise every day so hopefully blood pressure will be OK (unlike when I had VSG). I don't have any scar stuff/compression garments but I think I will get that from surgeon. I have some hoodies that zip down the middle.

Anyone else have any ideas on how I can prepare? I'm sure that I'm missing something. Any hints or tips would be appreciated... particularly from those who have gone through it. My only previous surgeries are gallbladder and VSG, which were both laparoscopic so I'm pretty freaked out, but I really want this.

Congratulations for moving forward with determination and resolve! You've GOT this, and like you said - you do not have to contemplate it for months. This new opportunity and acceleration may just be a blessing in disguise? So happy and excited for you. I meet with my surgeon this Monday about arm lifts. She did an excellent job with breast + tummy lifts in January - I feel incomplete with very saggy, heavy and troublesome arms. They really weigh me down now. Keep us posted. What day next week?

Met my aunt & cousin for lunch today. Ended up tucking my stretch leather pants into my boots after seeing the bunching at the ankles in this pxt. Chilly in Brisbane today, so wore two layers of wool - a long line cardigan belted over a high necked fitted top.

Funny seeing @Sophie7713 in short sleeves & shorts & @GreenTealael in a strappy dress when I was seriously considering wearing gloves with my all my layers yesterday. Brrrr.

Ms. A - you look absolutely delicious in this outfit!!!!! Wow. What a stylish BEAUTY you are. AND, the boots + belt are HELLO - to die for. It is funny that your winter and we are summer. Is that why they call it down under as in polar opposites? Been watching Dr. Blake mystery series and enjoying learning more about Australia.

  13. New recipes from polyester's vegan links... The White Bean Soup was delicious made from cassoulet Beans and chicken broth. Tweaked a bit here, as I'm a flexitarian. The beans were deliciously creamy and tender.

Mr. Sophie (the baker in the family) made these Blueberry chocolate Bars and loves them! They did not agree with me. While layered with wholesome ingredients - A little too rich and sweet for my new sleeve palette. However, I did enjoy some fresh blueberries along with him. Seems simple, basic and unconstructed food is what I tolerate and savor most. Ho hmmm. I fear Ms. Sophie has become a culinary BORE! LOL. But like ms.sss - I really do appreciate and enjoy the sights and smells of a more complex dish. 😜

  15. Just picked up these slacks and crop top at the seamstress. 5 foot me ALWAYS needs alterations. ;[

Will need the appropriate shoes and accessories in time...

Loving these new linen Bermuda shorts and cotton cool tops for humid Florida summers. 95 today. And, Yay, this time last summer July 14, 2019 I weighed 171. Today, I weigh 115. I have not worn shorts since WLS. I feel much cooler and lighter on my feet this summer then previous ones. So pumped!

I’m in a food rut so I just ordered a bunch of spices from Penzeys. I specifically logged on to order Curry, however to get free shipping I had to spend $39. After I checked out, I realized I bought everything but curry!

Yay @sillykitty is back! I don’t post much but I check in and read at least every other day.

Once I get my spices hopefully I’ll gave some interesting food to post!

    @ms.sss I want a drumstick now!

This curry corn and butternut squash Soup was to die for. Think the fam might like it, too? But again - it's not beef or BQ! Serve a good steak on the side. Haha.
