My outfit to follow-up appointment after plastic surgery yesterday. Comfy and definitely cozy.

Did someone say SHOES!? Even though I'm limited to flats (bum left knee) they all seem to make there way into my closet. Slowly replacing my former favorites I had given to Dress for Success. Went from a size 8 to 7 shoe now. Getting a lot of leverage from these favorite winter flats BUT they can't compete with those SEXY numbers Arabesque just modeled! Wow. In fact, I think I just saw my little pair of houndstooth flats run for cover under the bed... I think the high heel bad girls really scare them! Referring to the song by Amy Winehouse called her f---me pumps. Haha. Loved Carrie's shoes... just don't know how one walks or acts on set in them? Her back? But a good friend who was a former national Hanes hosiery model in NYC can really work those platforms and spiked high heels with precision. I have never seen such long and beautiful legs as hers. Her waist is parallel to my shoulders! I think I'll stay closer to the ground. LOL ;]

Threw a 60th surprise birthday party dinner for hubby (structural bridge engineer) this past Sunday. He was totally caught off guard... Sooooo mission accomplished! Told so many tall tales keeping it a secret... Here's a few snap shots of the event. I just love balloons!

Trying to get projects in a good place, as well as general things done since the downtime after PS and my capabilities then are unknown? Playing catch up with our thread this morning. Everyone is starting off right for the new year and looking amazing! Love the enthusiasm! Hooray, we won the Cotton Bowl!

Does anyone remember them? Great for class and internship job when in college. If you find them on consignment... they are wonderful!

Forging a NEW DECADE. AND never, never, never wish to carry this kind of poundage on my small frame ever again. Pictures taken from New Years Eve gala 2017 at my highest weight. Ridiculously sad, indeed. I celebrate and toast each of us here for the wonderful changes in ourselves (physically and mentally). And, to all the clothing possibilities now... How nice to no longer be relegated to plus size departments and stores. Gave away my last large size outfits to several work colleagues of hubbies at his office.
