  6. I am 23 days post op. I felt exactly what you are feeling and it is absolutely normal. Let’s remember that a PORTION of the stomach was removed,not the entire thing. So feeling hunger is normal. When taking my antacid medicine twice a day everyday in a timely manner, I felt the “ hunger” pains diminish. Also making sure I get my fluids and protein shakes in is key. Be strong and remember it is mind over matter. #wecandoit.
